I just got this camera so I'm not qualified to comment on its quality but the manual it comes with does not EVEN explain its use well, i.e. the little slide switch on the top; no where in the manual does it explain exactly what it does and what you would use it for. I also could not find how to toggle in between Programed and Manual use. I use this camera for construction inspections and more often than not I force the flash to make sure everything in the shot is visible. No mention of how to do this.

I like the quality of the photos. I took this on a trip to colorado to visit family and got some great shots of the mountains with great depth of field. Uploaded them to a photography club I belong to and got some good comments and "likes". Not sure what to do with the Creative Shot setting where it gives 6 creative shots with one press of the shutter button. I still have to try video and wi-fi. Nice camera that easily fits in a pocket. It's a great camera to use when I'm with family and it becomes awkward to carry around my large DSLR.

I replaced a SX150 that I had for years, I loved the quality of the camera and the pictures it took. This camera is easier to carry with you, point and shoot. I really liked the grid on the screen - makes it easier and quicker to center and zoom in. Only negative is that it is too easy to block the flash with your fingers. Great camera, very happy with it. The leather case is a little too big for it - if pockets were in it for extra battery packs and memory cards, it would be perfect.

I was unsure which to get the 360 or 350. Found out the 360 was not in stock at the time so just went for this and have not regretted it for a moment! Such clear pictures, large screen, great zoom. Really couldnt imagine what else Id have needed in a compact camera like this.

I'm not sure what the reviews about the camera battery being dud, but I've charged the battery at Christmas 2015 and only 1 other time since (but it didn't actually need it and it's still taking pictures in late April 2016. I love this camera. My first grandchild was born and you know I have been taking loads of pictures. The clarity of the image is as good as my big DSLR. The screen does have a bit of glare when outside in direct sunlight, but what can you expect? I have better luck when I'm viewing the screen with my sunglasses on when standing in direct sunlight. As far as the controls and offered settings - there are so many I haven't used them all yet. If you can't find a way to take the right picture with this camera I'm not sure what you want is available in a point-and-click camera. I absolutely love the BlueTooth capability (works great to transfer to my phone, but will admit I haven't figured out to transfer them to the Canon Gateway.

I bought this camera to replace my Fujifilm Finepix. I spent hours reading reviews, comparing specs, and testing other cameras before deciding on this one despite seeing some negative reviews. I needed a camera with a better zoom, and one that could capture high quality photos without everything having to stay perfectly still. This camera definitely delivers. Now it does catch a blurry photo now and again when my dogs are running at full speed so if you are looking for an action camera you may want to spend a bit more. But for the price I think the quality is amazing. I primarily use it for taking landscape photos and close ups of flowers and fish. I have gotten some amazing quality photos and it's very comfortable to handle and use. The image stabilization works wonders, I'm still figuring out a lot of the features and it just keeps getting better. It handles low light photos well and the WiFi is a nice bonus. I would highly recommend this for someone that wants better quality photos than a phone can deliver, especially with that 12x zoom. I use this with my canon Pixma to get wonderful prints I have already framed several. I'm looking forward to capturing many family memories that I can cherish for years to come.

The cannon 350 powershot was given to me from my employer. I shoot pics of cars, trucks, and motorcyles that are to be sold. Being in sunny Florida, I have issues with the glare on the screen. At times it is really challenging to see the image on the screen. The other issue is the time it takes to delete a photo after the photo was taken, usually 10 seconds before I can delete the image, gives me a busy message, which takes about ten seconds before allowed to delete. The size of the camera is perfect, the pics are great, and battery lasts about 3-3.5 hrs before needing to go to my back up battery.

I wanted something small and compact to carry with me for random pics when not using my 5DMarkII's for professional work. I love the features on this camera. One of my favorites is the wifi compatibility that allows me to send images directly to my iPhone. Although I wish battery life was better. I always keep an extra charged battery on hand as a backup. Overall I feel this is a great camera for the money!

I just got my new camera and charged the battery before its first use. 4 days and only 10 photos later, it's dead. Really, Canon? My last ELPH camera's better (which won't fit into this new camera) lasted months (I am not kidding). Now I have to wait to charge my battery to download my few photos. I should have listened to the reviews. There has to be a solution to this battery life.
