A gem of a flash

I needed more light than the flash from my little Canon 330 HS could provide. This flash was the solution. Very bright and powerful. It also has 3 modes of flash intensity. Not only did it work with my Canon, but it also worked unexpectedly with my Sony DSCH20! Finally, it has a tripod mount for creative placement of the flash, and it gets about 250 flashes per CR123A battery. A tremendous product. Very polite and speedy service from Adorama as well. Bravo!

The Canon HF-DC2 is a high power slave flashgun which is suitable for virtually all Canon PowerShot and IXUS digital cameras. The built in slave sensor automatically triggers this flash at the same time as the cameras built in flash fires.

Approx twice as powerful as the cameras built in flash. It comes complete with a mounting bracket and wide angle diffuser. Effective range of up to approx 30 feet. With the included wide angle panel the HF-DC2 supports 24mm wide angle lenses.
