This has great color copies, but don't try and scan from the document loader. False Jams all the time. Hangs up in the middle of scanning or faxing. If you want to use it as a copier great. but don't tray to scan or fax more than 2-3 pages at a time.

This was my first color laser printer and I couldn't be more happy with it. The colors are bold, bright, and look more like professionally printed products than any color inject I've ever had. The Canon warms up quickly and, once printing, has an excellent print rate. Changing toner is a breeze. Only downside I can see is that the printer has a large footprint and is heavy (almost 50 pounds!, but these seem trivial given the quality of the prints.

Before making a decision on which color laser printer to purchase, I read many reviews. Several years ago I had the Canon ink jet printer and admired the true and vivid colors, but wanted to upgrade to the color laser, but maintain the quality of the colors and workmanship of the product. I decided on the Canon LBP7660Cdn--it is sitting beside me now. I am delighted with its performance and quality of its vivid, true-to-life colors. The printer is very quiet, except when it wakes up and begins a printing job. It begins to print almost immediately and the noise level is that of a normal printer. I am most delighted with the Canon color laser printer and will purchase the original Canon toner replacements to guarantee quality performance and color duplication.

Without a doubt, this is the worst Canon printer I've ever owned. Not only is the toner RIDICULOUSLY over priced, but the paper handling is atrocious. Repeated false Paper Jam messages. Jams from the Manual Feed. Of course,the problem started just out of warranty, so now it's on me. Never again.

Noise...not an issue. Drivers installed quickly without issues Boots up and is ready to print VERY quickly I particularly like the option to let Photoshop OR the printer manage the colors the quality this little printer puts out equals that of the 50k + printers that i was paying to have my prints ran off on, while giving me total control of the final quality unlike when I had to farm the printing out. . This machine paid for itself the FIRST day i had it!

The driver is easy to load and it does not confuse the OS like some other drivers. I read the other review - loud? I didn't think so. I'm pleased with it performance.
