This printer works flawlessly on a LAN with several computers. Canon is very good about keeping drivers current. It is a perfect FAX machine, copier, and printer all in one package. The scanning function works, but is a little bit of a challenge, as it must be done from the printer. The duplexer is a very nice added bonus that can save paper. It is also nice to have the postscript interpreter for printing. I found this machine to be a tremendous bargain at this price, and I could not be happier with it.

I bought this because our previous Canon D600 never offered drivers for Windows x64. The D1370 is lighter/more plastic-y and a lot noisier when printing than the D600 but otherwise prints fine and a second tray can be added. It comes with about 2500 pages worth of toner (not the full 5000 page cartridge) but when the toner runs low (after around 1500 pages) it nags you constantly to 'Prepare Cartridge' and refuses to go into Energy Saver/Standby. This is extremely annoying but according to Canon is a 'Feature' not a bug. Read: they want to bully you into replacing a perfectly good cartridge that still works fine.

After having gone through 2 other multifunction machines in the last year, this one is a winner. It warms up and prints from energy saving mode in a matter of seconds. This was the biggest problem I had with other machines I have used. I also like the 2-sided copying.
