I am so happy I took the chance and bought this when I saw it at the Rite Aid store. It has been the best little printer money could find. I have had it for a very long time, now it is giving me grief, and I can't find it at a good price to replace it.

Purchased this for simple black and white printing, such as tax forms. I selom use it. But has not let me down for over 3 years. It's cheap in price, so expect cheap in Quality. For printing black on white paper, lettering, NOT Pictures. it works great.

I just bought this canon ip2820 and I thought it is wireless but it’s not plus have no usb cable in the package. What am I going to do with it? I’d rather return and get ma money back. In fact before I come to comment you guys I’ve tried to googled it and see it’s set up on YouTube but all doesn’t tell about it’s wireless connectivity. Thanks!!

Good printer, works easy, no wifi bullcrap. Plug it in, it works! Has worked for me over 5 years with both windows 8 and 10. I want nothing more or less from a printer.

I is my 3rd Cannon printer. I just stopped using the first one it never stopped working just needed to up grad. I wanted a printer that was not connected to my WI-FI. After setting it up and connecting it to my computer I put the CD in for the driver and it dif every thing on it;s own. Got a massage, Device is ready.

Does a good job with daily jobs. To those complaining about no USB cable included, read the box. The lack of the cable is a industry wide cost cutting measure. To those complaining about no Wi-Fi printing see line above. My 2 cents,

It's true, this model does not come with a cord - and that's not because you can print wirelessly with this (you cannot. The setup takes a while, using up 3 pages of ink and paper to ask you to align the head yourself. I've never had to do this before with any printer, so it was surprising to me that Canon would make its customers do the quality check for them. Finally, this model prints very, very slowly. I guess you get what you pay for! At least it came with ink cartriges.

I bought this for college thinking it would be something cheap and solid, noting the brand. However, it doesn't come with the necessary USB and won't print over wifi.

( People I would bet that everyone that has had trouble installing the ip2820 printer has windows 10 from Microsoft I also had trouble installing it. I had to call Microsoft and have them install it for me. The problem is with Microsoft not the ip2820 Canon printer

You need a USB printer cable (different than the 20+ USB and MicroUSB cables that I have laying around) and that one essential element does not come with the printer- rendering it absolutely useless as anything other than a paperweight.

Works pretty well. Worth the price. My printer came with introductory ink cartridges which lasted about 3 months (about 60 pages -- I don't print a lot), pretty much as predicted by the manual. They did not dry out before going empty. So I have a new set of XL cartridges, which are supposed to last longer. Color is good for an inexpensive printer. My only complaint is minor. The printer powers itself down and won't wake up to print, necessitating a power button press.

I have two other all in one printers that are getting old, so i thought a dedicated printer for just photo printing. there is no USB cable with this printer, any photos you print have boarders regardless of you wanting them or not. then the printer would not print on full sheets of paper. Next stop trash. As for the print Quality it was not bad for the little bit i could do

I am disappointed that Canon did not supply the USB cord for this printer. Imagine my surprise, that I now have to purchase additional equipment to get this printer operational. If its too good to be true then it probadly isn't good after all.

I just got the Pinter and it was a pain in the butt just to get it to print it did not have the cable that was necessary to even Finnish the setup and I had to get a old cable from my old printer I thought is was wireless but I guess not thanks for not even including every thing I need

Printer driver is corrupt. Printer will only print one copy as seen on your monitor then it will want to print 6 slides the next time you want to print. No matter what you tell the driver to do it will slip back to 6 slides. Try print preview and you will see 6 slides.
