I am very hesitant in ordering products on line where there is any chance of them being counterfeit. Even trusted sites like Amazon have prey to counterfeiters until they are discovered. I ordered directly from Canon so there would be no question of quality,

I bought 2 of these batteries to replace 2 off brand batteries that are repeatedly failing, and I'm so glad I did. They perform beautifully every time. They hold a charge for a really long time, even using live view, and carrying the camera around turned on the whole time. I will never purchase off brands again.
