Hits the mark
This camera checked all the boxes for my project. I wanted to create short videos and not really use it as a daily carry camera and it does just that. The menu options are simplified for a beginner and I found myself wanting more control over video settings. It may be that I have more experience with other canon cameras and need to review the book on the settings but I am use to manual control on my 7D mk1. Overall it's a great camera amd super sharp images

Great camera, just hard to return to prior functions when changed
Love this camera for its lightweight body, great lens maneuverability, and easy to use. I learned from taking Udemy courses how to use this. I really wanted a manual camera so I could learn techniques and truly understand what aperture, ISO, and F-stop do in images.
The two drawbacks I have are that sometimes the screen will not show the adjustments I am trying to make in manual mode. I got out of it once, but can't figure out how to do so now. It's annoying to take a series of quick pictures only to review them later and find there were over- or under-exposed. I do love that I can create a small menu of the functions I use frequently!! And I did turn off the preview after each photo function because it took too long to take the next photo. However, this sometimes locks the ISO and only allows exposure adjustments, or visa versa with AF functions and is hard to get it to where I can manage all three WHILE looking at the screen.
My second issue is that the photo sharing/retrieval is archaic. The ability to just send a photo to myself takes too many steps through the image.cannon app which no longer provides support. This difficulty has me turning to my phone more often than I intended.

Great, easy to use camera
This is my first real camera and I have been having a blast learning to shoot on this body. The kit lens works just fine and the bag provided fit all the accessories easily. While the EF-M lens platform is a dead end, having the ability to buy an adapter to fit EF/EF-S lenses means this is a great entry level camera for people who see themselves eventually stepping into the mid/higher tier Canon line without losing all of their glass investment.

Exactly what I need
This is exactly what I need for my purpose. I have it set up to record yoga videos for my studio. It's connected to my computer via an El Gato CamLink 4k, so I don't use the internal recording, and I send out the video raw. It's a HUGE upgrade from the camcorder I using before. And I got it as a refurb, so basically 1/2 off the price. The best purpose I've made for my studio.

Very prone to overheating
I purchased this camera to use for taking planetary astronomy videos, through a telescope. Doing this requires capturing high resolution video for several minutes at the time, a job this camera should be well suited for, given its high resolution. Unfortunately the camera will overheat within 10 minutes of use, when capturing 4K video at 25 FPS or HD video at 50 FPS.
When the camera overheats, it refuses to capture any more video or photos and needs to be powered off for 30 minutes, to cool down, even when the surrounding temperature is around 0 degrees centigrade. I did not expect the camera to only work in 10 minute intervals, when being used within descibed operating parameters.
I also tried to connect to the camera's API, in order to trigger photos and video capture, from a computer. I found that the camera often freezes and needs to be powered off and on again, to resolve the problem. This is also not optimal, when operating the camera remotely.

A great little camera for everyday use
I had the original EOS M mirrorless camera until it recently got badly damaged as a result of a hiking 'accident'. The newer model, M200 is great in so many ways - just as compact, sporting a better lens (15-45), a pivoting viewing screen, and better resolution. I use the camera for hiking and it's both light-weight and versatile with lots of great features.

Great size, great pictures, great features
I bought this 4 weeks ago at a local camera shop. So far this thing has been amazing. I've had other brands of compact mirrorless cameras and this is hands down the best. Can't wait to get more lens.

Works well for recording videos on desktop computer
I bought this only to use it as a video camera to film art videos, and I have no video experience outside of my smartphone. This camera was highly recommended by many Youtubers and streamers for making long, high quality videos. I use it with an ac adapter (so it has infinite power) and an hdmi cable connected to a capture card on my PC, and record with OBS. The HD video quality is beautiful, but the 4K is absolutely GORGEOUS. Artwork looks like it could have been scanned: it's so clear and crisp, and the colors are very accurate. My one criticism is that the camera can get very hot when using 4K for long periods of time, but apparently this is common with all cameras. I've made it a habit to flip out the touchscreen and turn off autofocus to help keep the camera cool. I usually record for less than 1 hour at a time and it hasn't overheated.
I've been using Canon cameras for over a decade, so using this one was very intuitive for me straight out of the box. I think all the settings and menus are easy to understand and navigate. The camera is lighter than a DSLR (obviously), but heavy enough that it doesn't feel cheap. I've had it for almost 2 months now and I'm very pleased with it. :)

Good Beginner Camera
No mic jack which sucks because the sound quality isn’t the best. Clear videos and pictures. Different video setting are nice. Overheats super easily

Kit is Great for Beginners
As someone who just wanted to get started with filming and photography, this kit gives you enough tools to try out and see what you like. It's not the most advanced, but it's a great way to get started.

Awesome Camera
We got a chance to use this camera at CES for a short story making project. It's clear 4K video, concise time lapse movie production, easy to use, lightweight, comfortable in the hands, low light performance was amazing. The wi-fi with NFC for quick convenient pairing with my Note 8 to up load video to my social media accounts was fantastic. 5 star camera for us social media junkies.
