Excellent budget priced multi-function laser printer. Set up for wifi was straight-forward. It is much faster than my previous Brother printer. Scan feed from auto feeder is mostly OK if one is careful about setting guides snugly. Good quality scans.Easy to set up two-sided printing or copying but haven't been able to set up scanning from two-sided document. However, Canon technical support is excellent and I plan on giving them a call to solve this problem. Adorama shipped very quickly and I got the printer two days after ordering.

I bought this for only 2 people to use in a private office. It works well for the 2 people and it was very easy to configure with the web page and local settings. It is pretty intuitive and bang for the buck seems higher than HP. Toner is very cheap through 3rd parties (non-oem) although it does not hold too much. I would not recommend this for high volume. You will be changing the toner all the time and will most likely burn the unit out prematurely. It is also not that fast so I would say this is for 1-4 people and any more than that, you need a more robust machine of full size copier.

This is a great laser printer. Best thing I like about the printer is the fact I can scan directly to a network drive SMB no actual pc is needed. It prints fast and quality is nice. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Sometimes when scanning through the document feeder the scans are little crooked and some settings like scan to email are a little complicated. Port settings are in a separate menu. So scanning to Gmail works great now after I figured it out.

I haven't had the need to use all functions (fax, scan) but the printing and copying are quite fast and the "wake-up" time is quick. The double sided printing works well. I bought when on sale and it is a great multi function at that price.

The Canon MF249dw is fast. Using the USB interface, from sleep mode it wakes up and prints within a couple seconds. The print quality is very good (only monochrome). The downside to this printer is the documentation which is poorly organized and difficult to follow.

I came across this webpage and found exactly what we wanted at a very affordable price. I contacted Customer Service with a few questions and they were great. I do get e-mails form them from time to time with other great prices. Give them a try.......it was worth it.

This printer does not work with Google Print, although it is on Google's approved list. My Canon MX922 works fine. Works fine with Apple AirPrint, or wirelessly with windows 7. Print quality is excellent.The printer seems well made. I am disappointed, because my main reason to buy this to print wirelessly using Google Print, given the fact that I have another Canon laser printer, which is not wireless.

I bought this printer because other Canon printers in my office are fast. This one is too but print quality leaves a lot lacking. The print is faint. I also have to remember to set the print to single side every time because it will always print double sided and some government agencies won't accept that.

The unit is easy to set up, however Windows only recognized the Fax as opposed to the printer at first in the [Device and Printer] window. However, upon opening an MS Office document and looking for the printer, it was selectable as a printer and printed perfectly. Going back to the [Devices and Printers] window revealed the [Printer] actually showed up. I wouldn't mention this but it seemed to be a consistent occurrence. We purchased two of these machines and I've made three installs; this event was consistent in all three installations. Other than that very small quirk, it's a great little machine and seems to work well.

Prior model (about 10 years old ) satisfied my requirements until it stopped functioning with a listed paper jam that I could not remove. Online research indicated that repair would not be cost effective so I ordered this printer. it was on sale, easy to set up and included some new features such as 2 sided auto feed copying. I am well satisfied with all aspects of this new printer.

This printer rivals the professional printer I have at work! I can scan color docs to email or deposit on a share drive on the network. I can send and receive faxes. I can print from my phone or tablet. I just love it and would recommend it to anyone. The printer is so much faster than my old inkjet printer.

This printer prints fast, I had forgotten how much faster laser printers compared to the ink jet printers. The first time I printed a document on it I had to check that it printed on all the pages because the pages came out so fast. I do have some issues with the scanner. If you scan in color then the scanned document comes out as a jpg file. I could not figure out how to get it to output the document as a pdf file when scanning in color so you cannot scan a multi-paged document in color and have all the pages contained in one file. You have to scan it in black and white for that to happen. The copying function seems to works fine, I copied one black and white document and did not have any issues. I don't copy that extensively so I did not really test this function. I also have not used the fax capabilities of the printer either. All in all my impressions are that this is a solid printer but it loses a star due to my problems with scanning.
