It is a nice printer and for the most part, I am very happy with it. However, when I went to register it with Canon, I was informed that according to the serial number it was not meant for sale in the United States and therefore I could not register it. If I have a problem with it I am hoping this will not be a problem with the warranty. One of the weaknesses of submitting an online review upon initially receiving an item is that you don't have much of a history upon which to make the review. So far so good.

Canon image class MF451dw is the printer you want if you have a business, or home business. It can scan, print and copy. The paper tray is adjustable. The 5 inch color screen is easy to use and is not too touchy where mistakes are made. The quality of the print is phenomenal!! It is a large printer but it is compact for what it truly does. It is wireless, so we have 4 devices that can connect and print. This has been one of the best features and a total upgrade from a regular printer. Go get this!

This is wonderful multifunctional wifi compatible laser printer + scanner product from cannon. The set up was a breeze. It connected to my 5G wifi super quick and my laptop was easily able to add it as my default printer. It's lightening fast in printing and scanning! I read a lot of legal and scientific materials, so I print quite a bit and having this printer is an absolute god sent! If you've got a small office or a home office and are looking for a wifi enabled laser printer that prints super quick and produces high quality printouts and also has scanning functionality, this is the best printer for you!

I got the image class mf451d multifunction wireless laser printer for my wife's business. This printer is so awesome and easy to use. She can print directly from her phone with ease. This printer holds a lot of paper and prints very fast with great quality. Super impressed. Highly recommend for those with businesses.

I've found my FOREVER printer after trying 40+ printers in my 60 years of living. This imageCLASS MF451dw - Wireless, Multifunctional Laser Printer is the best printer I've ever used/owned personally and in a business sense. Pros - The imageCLASS MF451dw produces high quality prints at 34 pages a minute. - My two-sided pages come out fabulous. - The scanner has a high resolution and it's lightning fast. - The intuitive touchscreen is lovely to have in a pinch. - The toner should last me a LONG time because of the high capacity that it holds. - Setup was a breeze and the 5" display helps when you're my age. - Works excellent with my Wi-Fi and I can print from my phone. - I LOVE that the paper tray is internal, so my paper doesn't get dust or pet hairs on them when not in use. - BEST well packed item I've ever received, just WOW! Cons - The only cons someone might find is the printer and cartridges are pricey, but with the capacity of the cartridge lasting a long time you'll spend less on ink/toner in the long run. The printer you'll probably find it's the ONLY printer you'll ever need because of its quality and durability being so superb. Worth every penny! Thank you!

vey easy to set up, and prints easily from wifi. You dont have to run to the printer and turn it on from "sleep mode" fro wherever you are for the wifi to work. Haven't had it very long so cant attest to the longevity of the printer or how well it does with ink usage

Setup was a little difficult, had to learn a bit. Don't have an IT department, but managed. It is designed for a business, but would also be great for small businesses or home-schools. Have no difficulty printing from my desktop, phone or laptop. It scans (copies), faxes and prints in duplex. I love the duplex. No more feeding in odd number pages wrong. You will need the Cannon PRINT Business app for printing from a phone or tablet. Can send scanned data to email. addresses. I think you need a landline for faxing. I don't think you can fax using the app from your smartphone, but not positive. About 1.9 cents per page for Cannon toner. I can actually lift and move the printer. Mine prints black only. I have only used it for a short while but have been happy with it. There are a few features I have not used yet.

First, I love laser printers. They print high-quality documents at a fast rate. My printer before this was from another company/brand. It worked well but only printed. It didn't have the ability to scan or copy documents. This Canon laser printer is on a whole other level. It is the equivalent of having a copier for the home office. It is easy to set up (wireless printing is great), and the scanning, copying, and printing are high quality. It is also fast. The machine warms up fast (6 to 10 seconds) and prints a page in about 1.7 seconds. Just keep in mind that this is a BIG printer. That is the only trade-off for all the options it has. So, make sure you have a place to put it before your purchase.

I recieved this as I am replacing my old one. I like the screen as it rminds me of the one in our library. It is easy to use. I now have a printer so I don't have tgo somewhere else to print something.

The Canon imageClass MF451dw is an excellent laser all-in-one printer. It comes with the Canon Catridge 057 (3100 page yield), so it is ready to print out of the box. Although I use it at home, the quality of the print, scan, and copy functions is as good as at my workplace. I like being able to easily print a document using a usb flashdrive.

I got this for small business and man has it revolutionized the way we print! The quality is off the charts and the ease of use is completely amazing. It is very user friendly and the quality looks like something from a printing company. You will not be disappointed in this one.

I've got a small business that I operate out of my home. I've been using inkjet printers from various manufacturers over the years Frightening to think of how many thousands of dollars I've spent on replacement cartridges. Enter the Canon Image Class laser printer. This thing is a beast. Literally. It's big, occupies the same footprint of a large inkjet, but stands 2x as tall. It's fast and quiet. Set up was easy and intuitive (for me). I first updated the firmware before doing any setup other than connecting to the wifi. That took several minutes, I thought that nothing was happening and was about to cxd the upload when the screen blinked and the upload was completed. Easy to connect my 3 Mac computers and make it the default printer. 98% of our printing is B/W and this is giving me a crisp, clear print. Easy to scan, has both a flat-bed AND a feeder which will make scanning & copying a breeze. I've only just set up the Canon ImageCLASS but I already know it's going to play a very important roll in my office.

This printer had easy setup. The WIFI connection was quick to establish for wireless printing. Scanning and copying multiple pages at a time is SUPPER fast. Two sided copying is also excellent. It holds a a great quantity of paper also. The quality of the copies is second two none. Overall a great printer.

I have been really impressed by this laser printer. It was really easy to setup and it?s even easier to us. It is perfect for someone who prints often and works great for all my employees. Wow this thing is fast at printing ! I e been using my old schools deskjet for my office because I?ve been to cheap to upgrade .. Man , by the time I print one page on my old one , this one has already printed 10 pages . It was super easy hook up and install . Noting but 2/3 steps and this thing is rocking and rolling . Wish I would have some this before . Already printed close to 1000 Pages and not a single jam or hiccup .. why did I wait so long . This is a great , solid well made machine . You can tell they didn?t skimp out on this one .

I really love this printer. Setting it up was really easy to do considering its size is on the larger side. But it can print, scan, and copy so it?s easy to use as well. The printing speed is outstanding and the quality overall is perfect and I love the fact that its touch screen, has wifi, and you can even scan to Cloud Apps. One of my favorite features is that the tray for the paper is under the printer, so it's more easier to print since it's a laser printer. This laser printer can do a lot and I highly recommend it.

Arrived a week ago and immediately setup the printer. Between business, school and personal office needs, our reliance on print and scan function is critical. Immediate impression is that this device is fairly simple to setup until you setup scan to email. Depending on your outgoing mail type, there may be additional setup required with your mail provider. Once setup, scanning to email works flawlessly. Wired and wireless seems to function equally well. The only downside we have seen is that the touchscreen seems to be a challenge for anyone with with long finger nails. Ultimately we plan to put this unit through its paces. Quality of print is far better than some of our other multifunction printers in the past. Toner consumption seems to be average.

I got this printer for my home office, and I have been blown away. It prints quickly and clearly. There is no worry for ink smearing, either. I love the wireless feature that it has. It is a good size printer without being too big. If you are in need of a reliable printer, I would recommend this one.

I consider myself to be pretty technologically savvy, but it did take longer to set up than planned. It was about 30 minutes, which isn?t too bad. I just expected it to be much quicker. The set-up guide was mostly helpful. The (online) manual, not so much. It is not very user friendly. But, once everything was figured out, it was smooth sailing. The Canon business app that you can download to accompany the printer is very user friendly. The printing quality is absolutely fantastic! It prints over 30 pages per minute. I like that when you print, the pages are not sticking out on an exterior paper tray. It prints and the pages remain slightly underneath the printer?which is a major bonus for privacy. It prints so fast! This is my first experience with a laser printer, and I am now a huge fan. Scanning and copying are wonderful as well. I particularly liked the very specific settings you can use for these jobs. It is also pretty quiet when printing. I was able to use Apple AirPrint as well! This is a very sturdy and high quality printer. It?s absolutely solid! It seems like this one won?t need to be replaced for quite a while.

I got this printer a month ago for my small business. It was very easy to set up my sixteen year old son did it all. It says the ink last for about 10,000 pages. My wife uses it everyday to print her stuff for her bakery. It is very easy to print from you phone also.

The Canon imageCLASS MF451dw wireless laser printer is well thought out and very easy to hookup. My windows computer found and connected to it very fast. Our Mac computer required us to downline drivers (annoying) , and then connected quickly. It prints super fast has a large paper capacity and the touch screen/viewer is easy to read/see and pivots making it easier to use while seated at a desk. Thought not small, it fits on nicely on my desk even with my 3 monitors. I do wish it had color capability!

The Canon MF451dw is a robust business class printer that is easy to setup and configure. The MF451dw offers multiple configuration options for us including wireless, wired (ethernet), and USB connectivity (USB not included). Upon unpacking and initial setup, the color touchscreen walks through the initial setup requirements. If utilizing the USB option, included is a DVD with drivers and software which surprised me as I can't imagine many users will have a need for this. The Canon website makes it easy to navigate and download the required drivers and/or software before connecting. Once setup, this unit will keep up with any large print job with up to 34ppm printing. Scanning is easy to setup and configure the default options with the MF Scan utility. You can access the printer web interface for additional settings if required. However, most of the settings can be adjusted directly from the color touch screen. Overall, this is a very robust and stylish Canon MFP that will last for years and is perfect for any office or home office environment.

This is a great, black and white printer, scanner and fax machine. What I like the most about it are the following: scan to email. Use the flat bed scanner or scan multiple documents into the feeder and have it turned into a pdf and emailed to you! Next, setup was simple and took less than 5 minutes! My computer found the printer right away. Last, I love the option to print from a phone or tablet straight to this device. I have tested it and it works great! Only thing I wish this had was that is could print in color. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to print, scan, email at home. Very simple to setup.
