Ok, the MG2924 in-and-of-itself is a GREAT printer! With USB cable, it works awesome. Wireless local connections ALSO work AWESOME! BUT, know one thing: Google designed 'Cloud Print' (GCP with HP in mind, and all others came to the 'game' already underway. EVERY complaint you will see on this computer is a DIRECT function of GCP being JUNK, not the printer! I LOVE Canon printers...so if it won't work with GCP, oh, well...but I wouldn't print on an HP if you gave me one! The complaints here are actually about the failures of GCP, not the Pixma printer series!

got this not even 6 months ago. started having problems with printer issue light coming on for no reason and then it stopped feeding paper through and when it did it would not print on the paper. cheap price cheap product.

The printer works fine with the desk top but when connecting to iOS the directions had 18 step that were not clear or accurate. Wasted hours on this junk and still unsuccessful. If your looking for that frustration and anger that you haven't felt in years, get this printer and try to connect to iOS. Warning do not attempt if you have a heart condition or pacemaker!

great for scan to Samsung phone and send to Email. problem is I've got. With having 2 Google chrome books computers it can't connect and print, done everything I can think of doing.

I have had this product for 2 years with no problem the ink really comes out good on the paper it just uses more ink but its worth it.

Ink Cartridge placement is pretty awkward to install and remove. setting up wirelessly when first started is like a miracle just happened when you finally get it on your network with other devices t recognize it. Software needs an overhaul. On the upside, I saved a ton of money on my car insurance.

I'm so surprised by the low rating on this printer. Granted I do use it as a personal printer and scanner, but it's worked perfectly every single time. I've never had a single problem with it. I've set it to only use black ink to save costs. I've used it as a scanner and it's worked perfectly every time. I feel this printer walks me through everything I've had to do.

Bought a few months ago and is NOT user friendly. Tough set up, unreliable printing, & FORGET trying to use it even w a USB. Using Chrome is impossible and so my son has not been able to print any homework assignments. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CANON.

Customer service was great, however very deceiving that this printer only prints select sizes of photos. Even now looking on the Canon website at the product Pixma MG2924, it shows 8x10 photos printed. I ordered photo paper that I can't even use. Also, unable to do borderless printing. The 4x6 photos I was able to print had borders, which decreased the actual size of the photo. Was very excited to start printing my own pictures, but won't be to the extent that I was hoping.

Only thing I can print are some pictures. No coupons, no documents, on my iPad. I bought the Canon MG 2940 for its wireless feature. Installation gave me problems as well.

Pixma MG2922 I purchased my first Canon printer 3 months ago but procrastinated setup. I couldn't figure it out. I called Canon for help and got the BEST customer service from people in the USA. ZERO frustration. They walked me through all the steps. Thank you, Canon.

I really wanted to like this Printer... not expensive. Copier quality is Okay, The Noise level when printing is SCARY when printing (and I have hearing loss! But in very short time, I needed Ink. Black ink. The cost of the BLACK ink was 1/3 the cost of the printer, with the COLOR ink being an additional 1/3 of the cost of the machine. And ink was NOT available at the Best Buy, WalMart or Fry's. Not a good sign of what is to come. I am striking Canon off my list of copiers use. I will be selling it on Craigslist, because it works but is too expensive to use. Plus Side: The setup for wireless connections for my computer and Android phone were simple and flawless.

I was disappointed to discover glossy photo printing is limited to 4" x 6". The instructions and features list of the printer don't mention this limitation. Although I paid only a fraction of the suggested retail price, Canon has intentionally limited the functionality of the MG2924. The printer does have a smudge resistant black pigment inks, and non-smudge resistant dye inks for the colors. Printing is slow and noisy with the regular settings. There's a "quiet" setting, but it slows down the printing even more. There's quite a bit of bloatware.... I mean free software included. If you are inclined to create greeting cards or calendars and don't have other software this could be a benefit. Once the toner is empty, I'll be donating my Canon Pixma MG2924 and going back to using another printer brand. It's much quicker and makes great prints without the artificial limitations that Canon uses to hobble their Pixma MG2924.
