It has lasted over 5 years and is still going! I love my printer and am looking forward to getting a new one with other features for future projects.

This unit is not user friendly. Its slow and loud and if you get a paper jam the amount of trouble it takes to fix it is ridiculous.

I had this printer for a couple of years and now having issues where I am trying to print something and the roller will not feed the paper. I tried cleaning the roller (I looked at Youtube also. And I have left over ink not used. Customer service does not respond to these reviews I see. I would not recommend this product.

This printer has been the worst experience I've ever encountered with an electronic device, and I am known to be tech savvy. This printer refuses to cooperate after being setup and placed on the same network to print over WiFi. I could not even print off emergency Christmas gifts today, because the device is somehow no longer visible and I need to troubleshoot and experiment with reinstalling the drivers, again. MIND YOU, the printer is showing up on my phone, but won't print either. I often tell my wife that I am going to take this printer out to a field with a baseball bat and beat it like they did in the movie Office Space. (Google: Office Space - Printer Scene)

Constant paper jam and if no paper comes out with a long crash in the middle. Wish I could fix it because I have a lot of extra ink but cant find how. I love this printer before this started happening

I've had my printer for over two years and my only complaint is that it keeps running out of ink and paper when I print a lot.

I purchase my printer one year ago but one of its components stopped working. I am having trouble getting the printer fix or exchange.

Always disconnected and had issues printing, but this was when it actually somewhat worked. When we got new router, it COMPLETELY DISCONNECTED and is IMPOSSIBLE to reconnect, meaning it can't print anything now and is nothing more than a useless piece of plastic. Worst printer ever. Don't waste your money on this

I'm a college student who always is using their computer and printer. This is the most unreliable printer I have ever used. It's constantly disconnecting and its nearly impossible to reconnect. I'm having such a difficult time. Especially when I have papers that are due and I'm unable to print. There are better printers out there, do not purchase this one.

Ive had this printer for approx one year. Ive never had a single issue with the printer. Always used over wifi. My wife prints recipes from her ipad. I print random things from my imac. We may have printed a rem of paper so far. Never used after market ink. Used the scanner on multiple occasions. The scanner is not the most user friendly but once you go through it a few times its not an issure. Never a misprint. Maybe one or two paper jams.

It never printed correctly right out the box. text was always too light. replacing the ink cartridges didn't help. After a year of light printing it just stopped printing altogether when the cartridges still had ink. Don't waste your money on this garbage

This is an excellent printer/copier/scanner. We have had this printer in two locations now and have NEVER had an issue with WiFi. I belive that those who have issues with WiFi don't understand WiFi or have terrible WiFi coverage where they put the printer. You need to put it where there is strong coverage. If you ever need to change it's wireless network you can use WPS or hook it up to your computer with a USB cable. The driver and software are flawless. We can print from our Computers, iPhones and Androids no problems. I'm also an IT Professional and I recommend these budget units to most home users who don't want to spend a lot but need printing and scanning features.

I am so over this printer.... it never stays connected. It's very difficult to connect. I have never had an easy time using it. I've had this product for a year and I think I've only been able to use it, to actually print something from a device, maybe 3 times. I only use it to make copies. I NEED A NEW PRINTER!!

This printer is NEVER easy to use. I hate it. There has not been once that it has just printed my document. I have to mess around, turning it off and back on. Unplugging it. Reconnecting it to wifi, etc. and then out of the blue, occasionally it will shoot something out of it. Complete waste of money. Do NOT buy and if you already bought, I am sorry!

I'm amazed to see all of these terrible reviews because I run a few small businesses out of my home and when BOTH of my laser printers, which I usually use to print packing slips and shipping labels, stopped working on the same day, I went to the Canon MG3520 inkjet I have here, and used it for 2 weeks straight... no paper jams, no ink issues (ink has lasted a LONG time for an inkjet! - If you don't want to buy a lot of ink and aren't using a printer for photo printing, invest in a laser printer - know your needs and options. I just finally, this weekend, got around to fixing my laser printers and have all 3 printers working now, but this Canon printer saved me and is still going strong. I've also never had an issue with wireless connectivity.

turned out to be a keeper! It's the perfect complement to my monochrome laser. Black copies are crisp and quick. Color looks great on standard paper, and photos are far great than I'd have hope for at this price. The flatbed scanner works great, though a little experimenting is need for pencil masters. Copies generally come out as good, if not better than the originals. The ability to lighten/darken would be a nice addition. Seems to be quite frugal with ink!

This is the worst printer I've ever owned. It paper jams all the time, never connects to my computer and is all together insanely slow. I have to press start on the actual printer for it to printout a blank sheet before it will connect to the my computer and print what I want it to. It also loves to double print and create blurred images. Would not recommend. Cheaper printers work better than this piece of garbage.

I got 50 pages out of this printer, tops. Then it ran out of paper and wouldn't load anymore, no matter what I tried. At least it was cheap, because that's exactly what it is. Pure garbage, and incredibly fussy.

I totally agreed with one of reviewers that gave 5 stars, it only took few minutes to install and it provided WIFI-Print-Copy-Scan for home usage. Don't take time to figure it out if you get stuck, contact 1-800-OK-CANON. The tech is patient, knowledgeable and professional. Ah, if you have wireless and router, there is no need to buy USB. It works wonderful, though I haven't used it for photos, labels and envelops yet hence I hope it does the job as expected.

I purchased the printer Tuesday; since I'm not a computer geek, I decided I should wait to install it until I had someone smarter (like a kid) around! I didn't buy a USB cable, but decided this morning (Thursday) that maybe I should try installation. I followed the directions; it took exactly the time the instructions said it would; I was able to print immediately. I did not need the USB cable I didn't buy! So far, it has been a good experience, the printing was clear, it was quick, I'm happy...
