I've had this Canon MG 5620 printer, fax, copier and scanner for a couple of years and it has been a history of failure. Every time I try to use it, it seems something doesn't work. On the occasional time that something is not broken, It brings great joy into my life, but not enough for me to ever buy another Canon product.

Don't waste your money with a Canon printer, especially this one. It will break within a year, with no way to fix it (software bugs. If I print nothing comes out, I can only trick it to print by setting it to the photo paper settings. I wish there were laws against this. Its a shame, canon used to be known for quality products.

Bought 2 of these printers of 4 years both had failed print heads. Work well for a year or two.

The biggest reason I got this printer was because I wanted something wireless. The wireless printing almost NEVER works on the first try. I always have to restart both my computer and the printer, unplug, etc., wait, then start again. Sometimes I have to do this multiple times just to print one page of a PDF. It's infuriating, especially when I'm in a hurry. I have no idea why it happens and there is no support for it -- just advice to restart both machines. Why can't it just work?? I've had this printer for 3 years and it has done this from the beginning.

When I bought this printer, I was told that I could still print in black and white without needing to refill the color ink cartridge. However, that is not the case. This is extremely disappointing as this is the reason why I bought the printer in the first place. For a student, coloured ink becomes expensive and I am disappointed in this product.

I printed 10 pages and all of sudden got the dreaded Error B203 which means the print head burned up. Customer service told me to throw the printer away. I can't get a replacement because I bought the printer over a year ago and kept it as a back up to another Canon printer that died after a year. NEVER buying Canon anything again

Bought the MG5620 a year & a half ago, because I have had at least 3 Canon printers. I have only used this printer about 5 or 6 times since every time I go to use it, says out of paper, printer is off-line, not authorized to use. It is supposed to be wireless & does not operate wireless. Have had 2 inkjet 9000 series and they used less ink were work horses. I am very frustrated with this model.

I've always purchased Canon printers particularly because they offer separate color ink cartridges as well as the ability to print borderless. However, this printer has some disappointing flaws. The paper tray is compact, too compact; if you print more than 3 pages the paper falls to the floor. Also, seems Canon changed their ink cartridges. Cartridges use to made of clear plastic, so you could see how much ink was left after the printer told you it was empty. (You could usually get another 25 pages after the notice. Now the cartridges are black leaving you to try to get a few more pages or switch too soon leaving ink left.

I feel this printer eats up ink constantly, I need 2 black inks and the printer won't work without both of them. Thought Canon has good customer service this products is the worst. I will need to go to another brand.

MY CANON PIXMA MG56200 AIO PRINTER DOES NOT HAVE REAR PAPER CHUTE ALTHO ADVERTISED AS BEING A DUPLEX PRINTER COMPLETE WITH REAR FEEDER. I ALSO HAVE A CANON PIXMA MG5520 ALL IN ONE PRINTER SO i KNOW WHAT CONSTITUTES A REAR PAPER HOUSING. I'M UNABLE TO GET CANON ATTENTION TO PROBLEM. IT SEEMS THAT ALL CANON SMALL PRINTER SERICE IS HANDLED BY 3RD PARTY SERVICE COMPANIES "TROLLING" FOR INCOME.

I print mailing labels about 15 - 20 per month, and the occasional teen homework assignment. I am in my first year (7 months), and have had to replace the blue, yellow and now my second time replacing the XL black and now my regular black is low. I can't imagine why I need to replace ink already when I print in black and white, never in color and in 7 months only printed about 100 half sheet labels. Now I am getting that notice that once again one of the cartridges is low. I am not impressed with this one. I am going back to HP.

I bought this printer to replace the Canon pixma 640 which I LOVED and it just stopped working. I have had it about a month, use it for single copies and lots of photos . It worked well for a while and now it is unpredictable. It is very quirky and sensitive to the paper, I am constantly running back and forth to 'register the paper' which seems unnecessary. Sometimes it does not print what I send, other times it prints half copies or multiple copies. It is a cheap plastic machine, difficult to use for what should be a simple task, and not fun at all. The quality of the photos is just average, the ink usage is not great, but I like being able to replace individual color cartridges. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED don't buy it.

After writing a scathing review the website closed before I could hit the POST button. They must be reading as I write! This machine is flimsy plastic. It will not print without complete attention to its actions. Always has to register the paper before !printing, even though I'm using the same paper always! Also, it will say there is NO PAPER when there is paper loaded but the machine pushes the paper back out of the feed when it tries to pull one into it. It is supposed to print on both sides (duplex printing but because it tells me that there is no paper for each printing there is no advantage to this. DON'T BUY THIS HEADACHE!!!

So far it's everything I could ask for with the exception that it doesn't fax, but I knew that when I bought it. I'm a nuts and bolts user, nothing fancy, so I can't tell you about photo quality etc. But for me it does the printing, scanning and copying with a minimum of fuss and quickly. That's all I need. I do wish It would stop telling me to download the latest firmware without telling me just how to do it. When it says "setup" what setup is it referring to and since I just downloaded the whole setup why is it saying that? Does it just remind me periodically or is there really something I'm missing? All that aside it's performing beautifully.

I purchased this printer at the recommendation of a Canon tech after my Canon Pixma MG5320 stopped working and needed repairing and the nearest Canon repair store was nearly 100 miles away. I LOVED MY MG5320. This MG5620 is nowhere near as well made as the MG5320. This MG5620 is very noisy; the MG5320 was very quiet. The MG5320 paper output tray opened automatically when you copied or printed; you have to manually open the MG5620 paper output tray. I close the paper output tray on this MG5620 in order to avoid dust collecting in the printer. This MG5620 Quick Menu has a black background and the text is gray which makes it hard to read. The MG5620 and the MG5320 ink cartridges run out extremely fast. As far as the quality of the printing and copying of the MG5620, it's okay. I am so dissatisfied with this MG5620, I was going to return it and purchase another MG5320, but the MG5320 is no longer being manufactured. I'm so dissatisfied with this MG5620 that this may be the last Canon printer I purchase. It seems Canon should be improving their newer printer models not making them inferior to older models. But maybe that's what the world has come to...you pay more and get less. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE PIXMA MG562!!!!

I generally like Cannon products but this series of printer seemed fragile and cheaply made. Print quality is good but it cycles and makes a lot of unnecessary noise before and after printing. Not very impressive. I brought it back and bought a Brother MFC-J6520DW, more $ but it was worth it.

Was very happy to receive the printer which uses separate color cartridges and prints on both sides of a sheet of paper. The frustrating part came when no actual manual was included only the folded PICTURE paper. If written instructions were also included on this paper, it would have made a much easier installation.

I am so glad Canon has all of their support staff located in the U.S.A. I could understand every word they were saying. The two gentlemen I spoke with on the phone were phenomenal. Great customer service! I am very satisfied with my new canon printer. It was easy to set up and it works great.

Purchased the Canon MG5620 as a replacement for the Canon MP620, which I had for over 6 yrs, the 5620 has great wireless features and photo and website features that will make printing so much more fun. Smart phone and tablet compatibilities and so easy to use. Can't wait to find all the bells and whistles! I am going to miss the SD card readers that my MP620 had! You are going to love this printer!

I bought another Canon printer because I really liked the first one. This MG 7620 printer is good, but it is loud. I'm disappointed that it is loud. And I cannot figure out why it is loud. Do you have any idea why it is so loud?

I called Canon for a replacement printer and they recommended the MG5620, printer, scanner, copier. I love it. I couldn't have found a better price or received it any quicker than I did. Thanks Canon!

Great Printer, the only concern I would have is it is quite finicky about how you put in the paper and can be confusing as to where you put it in. Other then that its a fantastic product, quick, easy double sided.

I knew I wanted a Canon Printer as that is the one I was getting rid of (didn't wish to take it to be fixed). I talked with Tech-Support and afterfinding out my problem and what I wanted to do he switched me to Sales. In just a few minutes we figured out what I wanted, was told the price, placed the order and it was on it's way. I have not had a chance to put it throught it's paces yet but it is an excellent printer and I'm extremely happy with it and the people I dealt with. Ive tried other brands but keep coming back to Canon.

I had an older canon inkjet that suddenly told me there was a paper jam, when there was no paper, so I went ahead and ordered an air print, which I did not have before. This printer, although quieter, uses a great deal of ink, as did my other canon, so once again, I will be spending more money on ink than on the printer. I thought that I got a great deal as loyalty, but I saw this printer advertised for less at another store. As far as printing, it is not as dark as my previous one, unless I make it darker and use up more ink. Also, not all apps recognize this printer, who knew. This will be my last canon.
