I have had this printer seven years and it has been perfect. But it doesn't fax or at least I can't figure out how to use it as a fax? The cartridges are very expensive.

I bought it because it was a scanner and printer in one. But it stopped working in less then a year. It was still under warranty so I got a replacement, but that also died in about a little over a year.

I rarely used this printer but loved it when I did. I probably had this for 1 1/2 years before it died. Service reviewed and told me not worth fixing. I probably printed less than 100 sheets the whole time I owned it. I see others have mixed reviews and think with some improvements newer models will be great. BTW it sucks ink like and Octopus.

Bought this just over two years ago after reading glowing reviews on several sites. It worked decently for about the first year but since then have had an occasional problem with pages printing slightly offset so the first letter in each line is cut off. Had occasional problems with paper jamming but a few days ago couldn't get any paper to go through without jamming. Repeatedly pulling the crumpled, torn paper out from the front caused a piece of foam inside to pull out and now the printer doesn't work at all. I feel it used a lot of ink also - even though I mostly printed in black, I had to replace the other color cartridges too. Very disappointed and would not recommend this product.

I have had this printer for more than a year and absolutely hate it. It is NOISY, incredibly SLOW and refuses to print if one of the ink cartridges is low. I constantly get printing errors, like printing the same few pages of a long document over and over instead of the entire document once.

I've been using this printer for 7 months now and it's by far the worst printer I have ever used. The way the printer feeds from the paper tray only works 30% of the time, the rest of the 70% it shows a "no paper in feed tray" message. The printer has jammed twice already and there's no easy way to unjam it. I sat there for about an hour just trying to pull the paper out of the bottom of the printer, piece-by-piece. Loud printing + paper jams = do not recommend

I replaced my Canon mp620 with this mg5720. I have always owner canon products from printers, carmreas, to you name it I have always loved what I have owned until know. This mg5720 is costing me more money this it should. Im a work at home mother, who tries to save money but making my own things from marketing materials, shipping labels, post cards, to labels for my products, flyers, and etc. However since I purchased this printer it has been more of a hassle than anything. All it does is cause paper jams no matter what size paper you use, even if you put one sheet of paper in, it still has a paper jam. Then its a "job" getting the paper jam out. It takes hours sometimes to get them out. The way the printer is set up its very hard to get it out. The paper always rips or if not its so crinkled or has so many bumps in it you cant use it. Then when there is nothing left in the printer at all you will get a message saying "their is foreign objects" what the heck is that all about. The printer is very noises even on quite mode but id rather have that then the paper jams. I loves my mp620 it did so much more and was very quite but sadly a piece broke and i couldnt get it repaired. so now im out more money because i cant use this printer i just baught and im not even sure if i want to even get another canon product now after being a valued customer for 25 plus years.

We have this printer for 6 months now and we mostly use it for photo printing. The results are high quality but the simplest task is simply too complicated and my wife can't print anything without my help. Of course there is no instruction manual except on the cd. Quite inexpensive except for the ink which is ridiculously priced.

My parents bought this printer for my college dorm room. Never ONCE have I printed something out of this and have thought to myself, "Wow, I love this printer!" Instead, there's a technical problem every time. Not only is this printer very slow and EXTREMELY loud, but it has paper jams everyday. The way this printer is designed is just terrible. I mean, the paper is constantly getting jammed and taking it out afterwards is a process in itself. Super annoying, the paper always rips and then there are "foreign objects" inside so it is unable to print. Wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. I'm just out here tryna get a degree but I cannot print my work with this god awful printer.

This printer is an excellent choice for me. We were looking for an inexpensive printer that would work with our Chromebooks and tablets and this model was a good match. So far it has been easy to use and provides quality prints and copies.

Hubby and I have had this model for two months now, and we're very pleased with our new printer. Out of all the printers we've ever had,this is the easiest to use. The instructions were simple to understand and follow.

A great printer in the PIXMA line! This MG5720, replaces my 12 year old Pixma ip4000. The Instructions are clear to follow. Setup and install were trouble free. I chose to use the included Canon Install CD. Admittedly, I connected via a USB to Desktop connection, which works better for my particular needs. *(USB Printer Cord sold Separately Color Reproduction results favored adjusting colors downward -30 in the color settings, (all three colors found in Manual settings). Afterward the PIXMA MG5720 did a Beautifully Job, and matched exactly my original Photos and Graphic Artwork when Printed. Great Product Canon! Very Satisfied.

I bought one of these a while ago to use in my business, not even knowing it had the features it does. I was surprised that it had two sided printing. I found that out by accident when printing a document. I had zero issues connecting it to my network, and when the option to select it as a printer popped up on my iPhone, I was ecstatic! I can honestly say ive had no problems with this printer at all. I am not super tech savvy, but i can quickly scan things to my desktop on the other side of my bakery. My computer is old (runs WinXP) and Ive still had zero issues. Ive never had it drop off the network, or any other connectivity issues whatsoever. I strongly recommend this printer. I absolutely love it!!

I purchased this printer to replace an aging Epson printer. I was impressed with the clarity of the print in a store demonstration. However, it has two problems that I can't overlook. First, the touch screen is very insensitive, many times I need to use a dampened stylus before it will respond. Secondly, I have yet to master printing on CD/DVD's. The disc carrier must be inserted with an arrow on the carrier matched up with an arrow on the machine.Some times it prints properly but most times the printing is off center by as much as an inch. Not good.
