Slow

The print quality is good but the printer is just annoying. whenever you want to print you can hear the print head moving from side to side for literally minutes. Don't bother

Hate it

Three years of waiting while this printer whirls and bangs, thinks "another computer" is using it (not true), too frequently buying expensive ink cartridges, and now error code B200 freezes it! Tried every workaround and got a few more prints out of it. Color is very good on photo printing, but is the hassle worth it? Don't think so.

So So

Previously owned a Canon S820 photo printer, awesome printer, it finally bit the dust after several years. Got a lot of photos and prints out of it. 6320 not so awesome. Scanning and two sided print features are useful. Ink consumption and ink price are awe'full. Not sure will wait until it wears out to replace. Buy ink or make mortgage payment? Hmm.

Worst printer ever

I bought this & have had nothing but problems. It's very hard to connect this to my google chromebook and mac laptop. They constantly don't pick up the printer. This can go on for a month or 2 for no reason. The printer is loud even on the quiet setting & prints super slowly. If one of the ink cartridges is empty, you cannot print until it's replaced. It disables the whole printer. It's also very big in size. This has to be the worst printer I have ever owned!

The HP has better color quality and the time it takes to print a page is to long. I stopped using it except to scan because

A piece of trash

It takes forever to print something, especially if you decide to print it double sided. You hear the machine keeps running, but it takes so long to actually have a paper coming out of it. Ink runs out super quickly too. It looks fancy, but its unfortunately is just garbage. I was printing 2 mins ago, and i am now so mad. It makes me become so impatient and so mad.

Very, Very Disappointed

This is the first review I have ever written, but my level of disappointment and frustration with this product compels me to write. I thought it was just me..........until I read the other reviews. I have spent more money replacing ink cartridges than I paid for the thing, and now I find that everyone has had this problem. Every single time I turn it on, one or more ink cartridges are blinking "low ink levels" and it will not print anything at all. Not to mention the clacking, whirring and buzzing - and waiting and waiting - only to have the dreaded "one or more ink cartridges need replacing" message appear. I own Canon cameras and lens, and this is my second Canon printer, the first one had a defective print head, a manufacturing defect, and Canon gave me a discount to "upgrade" to the Pixma MG6320. Sorry, Canon, but this product is awful and I have already ordered a new multifunction printer that is not made by Canon.

Tired I.

Cannon Everything Here at Home Offices

When we upgrade printers we get all using the same ink even though the printers are of variable feature sets. Of the 3 units we have this unit slow ready for print. Uses more ink. On the good side if fresh ink the Photo print is excellent. The ink seems to dry up quickly but I must say its now used as much and is our vacation house where the temp and humidity varies throughout the year.. I purchased it on a sale at the right price as it matched the inks of the other printers. If its not a production printer its ok it only works well because of limited use and printing from Smartphones on the network.

I thought it was just me!!!

I liked the printer at first, then it quit connecting wirelessly unless I turned it off and back on, and it drinks in like water. It takes a long time to startup because it is stirring the ink one at a time and using it up. I sat here and watched two ink tanks on the screen go from 3 bars to 1 bar just while it was starting up. Canon PLEASE make the ink more affordable and available!!!!!

For a work-from-home person, it's a decent printer

Had for 1.5 yrs. Scan, print, wireless set up works great. I can send a coupon to print from my iPhone/iPad easy. Photo paper prints are beautiful. Just have 2 issues: Printer needs a better program to use black ink only - I can tell my Mac to print B&W, but the printer wants to print as "rich black" CMYK instead of just K. Only when I run out of CMY will it just do K. And I'd like to see Canon have a better return system for ink cartridges promotion, or loyalty program, or even a sale on their ink. It goes through ink a little too fast for my liking, sometimes just a month! I replaced a Canon i850 that had better ink management. A sale around tax season & back-to-school would be nice. I don't use generic ink or refill the cartridge. I just bargain hunt the best price on ink. I'd recommend it's features & price, but ink replacement can get costly if you're a heavy user.

disappointed

I've had the MG6320 for a couple of years. It is adequate for scanning, but for printing, it is one of the poorest examples of technology from a company I've respected for some time. I own Canon cameras, and expected the same innovation and excellence, sadly. The startup is extremely slow, and as very many reviewers have stated, the amount of ink used is simply unacceptable for any reason. While I believe that Canon makes very good products, this isn't one of them.

rejected

I have twice tried to submit an objective review of the Pixma MG6320, carefully addressing both its favorable and unfavorable points. The reviews have been rejected, though there is no explanation. So I am submitting one simple factual statement of why I am disappointed in this printer. I have just had to purchase my 5th set of ink cartridges, simply to print a 110 page 8.5 x 11 photo journal, mixed photos and text. Most of these were XL cartridges. You decide if this is too much ink for an amateur album.

Slow Startup

I've had this MG6320 for a good while now (2 yrs. Unfortunately, I can't review all its print features, because I actually print very little. My biggest complaint is its slow startup. If you promptly follow up one print job with another, the 2nd job will begin quickly. However, even if you print a simple Notepad document that contains "Hello World!", this printer takes minutes preparing to print! I recently upgraded the firmware, thinking that Canon might have improved this, but that wasn't the case.

Lost in space

Almost every time I try to print, it says Printer offline or Printer busy. Drives us bat---- CRAZY! I hate this printer. Sure, it prints great WHEN it prints. Love the photos. Most of the time I have to restart it and feel lucky if THAT even works. Is it the wi-fi? I want to chuck this huge obelisk against the wall all the time. First of all it takes FOREVER to boot up. It's clunky and noisy in the process. As all ink jets, it eats cartridges like candy. And talk about bloatware, don't even think about installing the garbage. One good thing, it USUALLY lets you use non-Canon brand ink which saves a ton. It has a good gray scale - it better since it uses a gray cartridge. It has an extra slot for high volume black cartridge which is good. But the constant problems with the wif-fi connection is WAY WAY WAY too much to deal with the ever recommend this thing.

When it works

The printer works great when it works. The last firmware update fixed the issue with the LCD not working after awhile, but the printer still has to be constantly restarted (sometimes unplugged). Almost every time that I go to print it says the printer cannot be found (using wireless with WPA2). I have to go over to the printer, turn it off and back on then it prints fine.

Nightmare Printer

Worst Ever and finally came to this site to see why this thing doesn't work right. BEST BUY recommended as the best one to get. Constantly out of ink, difficulty in finding printer modes to get it to work, slow as christmas...it goes on and on. I sold against these in the early 80's and they were poor then. Nothing has changed except you have edge to edge copying. Big deal.

Slowest printer in humanity

Quality is fine, but it has to seemingly warm up all toner cartridges before it prints which takes about 5 minutes. While you wait. Ugh.

PIXMA MG6320 (White)

Like many other reviewers stated, this printer is painfully slow and goes through ink faster than any other printer i have owned. I am a graphic designer and wanted something that had the features i was looking for in a second printer in my office. When and if you Finally get it set up just right, it does a beautiful job of printing. but, my final straw with this printer was, it becomes a big white paper weight if even just one ink run out.I had just replaced all of the ink tanks except the Gray, which no store in my area carried. AlI of the other ink tanks are full and brand new, But I can not Copy, Scan, Print or anything until the empty ink is replaced. I will not be buying this printer again.

worst purchas ever

I bought this printer because the last one was nothing but headaches and I was hoping for one that actually produced what was promised. But alas, this too was a great disappointment. The main issue is the WIFI reception, but it just doesn't do what it's told to do. Besides using ink faster than any other multipurpose printer, it consistently loses the signal and when it regains the signal it takes forever to print. The color isn't true, so my photographs are a disappointment. The final straw was when I tried to print envelopes but no matter what I did , it just slid the envelopes through - one by one, without a drop of ink on any.

So So

Good quality printer but have never gone thru ink so fast with so little output on an inlet printer before, I would not buy another one of these unless this has been addressed, especially with the cost of the ink.

Great Printer!

This is a Great Printer if you enjoy headaches, the feeling of angst and disillusion when you try to figure out why after you have written a paper does this "advance" printer take so long to print out one simple black ink typed page. Overall its great, it takes forever to print out pages, constantly tells you that the ink cartridges, which you have never used, needs to be replaced, and the most amazing feature the "Printer is not responding" function where you get to watch as the printer which is perfectly fine does nothing!

Inexpensive Printer

This printer is an affordable consumer-level printer. Included software is okay and the print quality decent. Pros: - Prints on inkjet printable CD/DVD/BD media - Wireless - Good quality Cons: - Takes a long time to process jobs/turn on/shut down - Using Canon Ink: poor consistency with color reproduction; each copy looks different* *Canon replaced the unit because of this issue and subsequent printers had the same problem. Ink just does not compare to other professional models so if you are creating multiple items for distribution, this is not the printer for you, as you'll get different results.

Incredible Printer

By AmatuerPhotKid

I was looking for a really nice printer to do high quality photo printing and just for everyday home use. This printer is so sleek and stylish that it really accents my living area. Wireless setup was so fast and easy my wife was linked up to it via her ipad almost instantly.

Love this printer!

My last Canon printer died, so I checked to see what they had to replace it. I ended up selecting the 6320 in white. One reviewer said they had an issue with it staying connected - I did too, but a call to Canon Tech Support had it up and running in no time - with no issues since! This printer makes beautiful photo prints, and nice, sharp scans of everything from printed documents or pictures to store receipts. The auto 2-side printing is great! I will agree the ink is a tad pricey, but you g...
