I bought this printer about 2 years ago and it just stopped working. It simply won’t turn on. I used it probably once a month to print things out for school that were not big printing jobs. When I called customer support they told me the printer is basically useless and recommended their upgrade program. Their upgrade program is 10% off a new Canon printer and free shipping which is basically a slap in the face. They should have recalled this product as it is clearly and issue on their end, due to how many people have had the same problem. I am now stuck with a useless 20lb printer and several full ink cartridges. I was a dedicated Canon customer but I will never buy another Canon product again.

Designed so you can do nothing unless all cartridges are full and installed you cant print a black and white photo if your out of yellow.

i brought this machine less than a year ago and have had problem after problem with print functions. The print quality is good when it prints but it jams frequently and releasing the jams are difficult.

DREAD! I have a Mac. Don't even think about buying-the setup will take years...and then one day your computer won't connect and you have to try to reset it all over again.

When trying to set up the printer to my laptop I planned on just using a USB cable since that's the easiest method but then I realized that it doesn't come with its own. So I tried to connect it wirelessly and no matter how I tried it failed to register with my laptop. What good is a printer that doesn't work?

Bought this to replace an aging HP whose wireless connection was getting sketchy and unreliable. BIG mistake. This printer has hardly worked since day 1. Even shutting down the printer prior to use and connecting via USB does not do the trick. Have always been happy with Canon products but this one is a real bummer.

Generally good quality performance but as others may have mentioned, the set-up is less than intuitive, so after over a year of owning still only can print with laptop directly connected and from one Smartphone that took much longer than one would expect to get connected to the printer wirelessly. Connecting directly over WiFi does not seem to be a thing.

Bought this last month, and for the money, works great. The screen is a little hard to use and takes patience, but once it's up and running, no problems. Also cool that I can print directly from my Android phone.

Just purchased this printer to replace my old one, a DELL 926 which finally quit working after 10 years. It was a good printer, but not near as nice as this new printer. This new printer has many more features than my old one, and I really like it.

It seems like this device is unable to connect to 5.0GHz, only 2.4, which sucks because all of my other devices connect only to 5 (and without any issues.) This printer doesn't provide a MAC address on the Setting screens; that's ridiculous. Most consumers still don't know who to secure their routers, but it helps to use MAC address control. I had to turn off MAC control in order to get the MAC and then turn it back on, while disconnecting other devices from the network throughout this ordeal. Terribly stupid that Canon doesn't have the MAC under settings; I know at least one other manufacturer that does. I can't recommend this device to anyone.

THE ONLY PROBLEM I WOULD SAY IT IT IS EY HARD TO CONNECT TO A DEVISE. i TRIED TO CONNECT IT TI MY LAPTOP AND T TOOK AN HOUR FOR ME TO FIND THE CONNECT BUTTON ON THE WEBSITE! This printer is horrible. Won't print complete jobs. I will hit print and it will wait 5 to 10 minutes before getting started. It is way worse than our 5 year old printer that we were frustrated with.

I haven't had any problems with this printer; I'm a photographer! I got this printer for my photos needs. I can print all my pictures , business cards, postcards, etc. the direction are easy to follow. I don't understand how anyone can't can not work this printer. Very easy!!! I also printer my kids papers on this printers, came out perfect. The Ink is high.... but is expected if you want good prints. This is something for now... I plan on getting the PIXMA PRO 100 next. That is my Goal and what I am saving up for, plus I am use to working that and bigger!

Great when it works. First, it took forever for the wireless to sync when we set it up. Then, every time it shuts down, we lose the wireless connection and have trouble again setting it up. We have trusted the Canon printers in the past, but no more. This printer has been horrible.

I received this product for free, and I'm completely ecstatic. I've finally come out of the Stone ages. I'm very impressed with the Canon MG6820. It's easy as 1,2,3... First of all this product is easy to assemble, no hassle or thick book instructions. Turn on, input ink cartridges , setup wireless and connect mobile, etc. The AirPrint is the coolest feature. Paper loads easily. Multiple online features, web software updates, etc. You can also use a SD card for printing photos!! Nice. I have a older model that's now RETIRED because of the Model MG6820. Finally a printer with speed, wireless and the touch tone features are so convenient. This printer is very light in weight. I have suggested this product to my Family and Friends. If you like Quality, purchasing a Canon MG6820 printer is a must have in your Home or Office. Copy that !!!!!!

In the first two weeks I have scanned and printed several times. The scanned pictures were easy to move into my documents and the prints were clean, clear, and sharp. This printer replaces my PIXMA IP4200 which developed some worn out print heads after 5 plus years. My new Canon MG 6820 PIXMA color printer is performing well. Thanks Canon. I need to figure out how to set up the silent print mode.
