Bought this camera in 2017 to use as both a camera and a camcorder. However I really cant use it. Any time the temperature goes under ~45 F the battery decides its dead. I have 2 batteries and both do the same thing. I can get maybe 5 minutes of video before it wont work at all. Would not buy again.

It's amazing. The quality is okay, it's not the best but it's not the newest up to date camera. That being said the price you pay for the quality of the camera is a deal. The only thing I wish did come with this camera is a small case because I'm scared it will scratch. The only negative about this camera is in low light it's not the best.

I have had this camera for about a week now, and I've taken almost 100 photos. For my purposes, this is a super camera. For one thing, it's unique. I have collected a LOT of Canon point & shoot cameras over the years, and this one is on a par with the others. Perhaps it has a teeny tiny issue with low light exposures, but I have noticed no problems in average or bright light. I have not yet noticed any disturbing graininess. I really like the moveable screen, and I've used it often to take pictures of rooms in homes. Being able to lower the camera in order to obtain a low angle significantly improves the picture composition. I applaud Canon for continuing to explore the different possibilities of camera construction and design.

This is a super cute camera! I have waited for it to release for about 4 months. I finally got it and was so sad and disappointed. My last camera was a 3 year old Canon S100. I loved that cam. As a youtube vlogger, it was the best tool for me vlog with on the go. With the N2 having the 180 degree flip screen, I thought it was going to be the perfect camera to add to my canon collection. Boy was I wrong!! I had it at the highest video and photo settings. Photos were ok, not the best, but just ok. Videos, however, sucked so bad! The LCD screen was so grainy. I thought, maybe once I transfer the footage it would finally be "HD". Goodness gracious, I wanted to cry of disappointment. The graininess was even worse once transferred. I thought maybe I got a bad camera, so I returned it and repurchased. Thanks Canon for overnight shipping btw. Got the 2nd N2 camera the next day. I was hoping (praying it was going to be better. NOPE! Same, grainy, low quality videos. I've uploaded a few vlogs with it on my channel, and it's just so sad to watch. Trust me, I have tried hard to love this camera. It's perfectly compact and sleek. The white color was just perf. I even decided I was just going to keep it, until right now. I am re-watching old footage, and I just can't. It's unreal how this new camera 2014/2015 has the same video quality as an iPhone 4. omg that's so bad!!!!
