Adorama had the best price by far for the Canon Ink set for my printer. While the printer does a great job the inks at almost $ don't really last very long. I'm a serious amateur and only print my own pictures and the ink has to be replaced often. I believe it uses a lot during the head cleaning process.

I have had the Imageprograf 5000 for a couple of years withe great results. the only thine this is should you run out of ink in one of the 12 cartridges the printer will not work and they are expensive.

I purchased this printer at a really great price and had not printed many photos. A couple of months later when I wanted to use the printer, the green tank was clogged and would not allow the printer to print. I had to purchase this to get the printer to work. Hopefully it won't clog again.
