Good but expensive.

Something I like about the PG-40 ink cartridge is that, at least in my use, the cartridge runs until ink exhaustion not date expiration. I'm able to print documents until they are too light to use, however long that takes. Sometimes I will save a PG-40 cartridge that is running low and reload it later to print draft documents. No expiration dates in my use.

The Canon ink products perform well. While they are generally overpriced, Adorama had this package available at a lower price, and their handling and delivery was excellent.

It pays to stick with original ink

I have tried off-brand replacement cartridges and have never been satisfied. It may cost a little more but using brand name refills gives a peace of mind.

does what it is supposed to do

Goes through ink too quickly, constantly changing cartridges with too few prints. I can't recommend this, but don't know what too substitute so I would just advise ink use
