WILLIAM C : where is the grey cartridge it says there are six colors?JUDITH L : Hope this is of some small help. I don't see anywhere this says there are 6 CARTRIDGES. If you've found someplace that says 6 COLORS, it maybe just a way to indicate that the printer prints grayscale by using black ink and increasing the blank spaces (dots) between the black ones. If your printer needs a sixth grey CARTRIDGE, this ink set is the not the product you need. Very few printers actually take a sixth cartridge and probably won't print without it. If your printer does need a sixth cartridge, you could do one of the following: recheck your product documentation, contact Canon, or search their site to determine which cartridge package your printer needs.

Value of buying Canon

It’s the only one that is complete (carries all the cartridges . Also the only one that works for my printer. None of the less expensive generic brands work. It’s expensive but the only way to go. I wish Canon could find a cheaper way to make these. They don’t last a long time. Are there any coupons out there?

Not happy

My order was out of stock. I waited a month without hearing. I finally called Canon. Was told the five-pack was still out of stock. I needed the printer badly, so I canceled the order, and went to the local store to get the printer inks. There was whole wall of inks; most looked the same, and sure enough I bought the wrong one. I learned this when I tried installing the ink cartridges, which looked exactly like the ones in the printer. Now I have five cartridges sitting next to the printer and am out a considerable amount of money. I still like Canon printers, but this experience has dampened my enthusiasm.

Bad Customer Service

I'd give zero stars if I could. I ordered this ink on April 6th. Immediately after completing the order I got an email stating the ink is on backorder. It's now April 21 with no update from Canon. Fortunately I was able to buy it from Amazon. So much for buying direct!

Ink OK but expensive

I very rarely print in color. Therefore, I don't like having to replace the color ink when I'm not using it. I'm sure the ink is fine, but can't the printer be designed so that i don't use color unless I actually print in color? It's too expensive to waste.
