Nice prints when working but difficult to attach to LAN and extremely frustrating paper feed, doesn't fee paper and returns with no paper error message - sometimes it feels most times not. Printer error messages and menu options not often usabel

The Pro-300 is more difficult to obtain good prints on Red River photo paper that my old Pro-10. Menu is cumbersome and too time consuming. Print quality is very good compared to the old Pro-10, which gave out on me after more than 7 years of intermittent use and it hurt to throw away several hundred dollars of PGI 72 ink cartridges.

Bought from Precision Camera a couple of years ago. It has printed maybe 50 times. It's awful. Does not stay connected to the WIFI, and thus cannot wirelessly print from computer. Constant error messages. Paper feeder is very finicky...you can sit a sheet of photo paper in the feeder and will say there is none.

Bought my printer and booked a photography job the next day. I printed the pictures on Pro Platinum paper, 13x19, and the results were stunning! Very happy with my new printer!

I had an older Canon photo printer and the ink was becoming to hard to find and costly. I wanted to start printing again and decided that the Pro-300 would meet my needs. The first prints that I made were from my fall trip to New Hampshire in the fall. The photos that I printed matched my computer display.

I've been using this printer for a year and 8 months and I print about 50 -100 pages a week. It is not super fast but then again I print on heavy cardstock . I have had literally zero problems, not even a paper jam. At this point I'd give the printer a 5 rating. I've had several other brand of printers in the past that were good but this one out-performs them.

Set up for me was bit confusing. I did not know Canon had programs to use for printing. Tried unsuccessfully using the generic settings on the printer screen. Trial and error . Once I got it going AWESOME.

Outstanding printer, great replacement for my Pixma Pro 100 after 8 years of use died. Love the ink, clolots a vivid, the print software is so good either as a standalone or in conjunction with PS 2024

I purchased the Prograf-300 a month ago after going back and forth between this and the 1000. I called Canon directly, to get further information so I could make an informed decision, the guy I spoke with was wonderful! I fully expected him to steer me towards the more more expensive Prograf 1000, but he felt I would be much better served with the P-300 after asking me several questions. I ordered it on the spot, received it within four days. Setting it up was easy, although, I did have to call and be walked through when I couldn't get it to connect to my wireless network. The person I was talking to, was extremely patient while navigating the different settings. A word of caution if you have a Mac computer/laptop. Mae certain you download the correct driver (it's the CUPS one under the Apple download), if you don't, you will end up with Apple's AirPrint and won't get the full benefit of the printer. Once everything was properly set up, I purchased Canon and Hahnemühle papers and downloaded the paper's icc profiles. Printing has been flawless, and the prints are gorgeous! One of the best investments I have made. One more thing, I didn't have any issue contacting Canon support. Those that have, when looking at the dates they purchased and needed support, it was appeared to be during Covid when everyone was in lockdown.

Great fine art printer when paired with the right paper. Buy a full set of inks, then individually, as you get to know what your workflow demands. Very efficient ink use, if you use it regularly. Cycling up after inactivity wastes ink.

This printer replaced my Pro9000 which I absolutely loved. The first photos I printed on this new printer, I was dissatisfied with, but I changed the paper I was using and the difference was nearly night and day! The print quality is quite good. The ink seems to last longer than on the old printer. The print speed is a little slower than the Pro9000but I do think the quality is better on this printer. I'm not sure how I feel about the software, like any new software, I guess it takes some getting used to.

Had a Canon Pro 9500 for over a decade. Love it but it finally had to be replaced. The PRO-300 knocked it out of the park right out of the box. Felt like a blessing from the print gods. Top notch A3+ prints that are smashing spectacular, pun intended. It knocks out 4x6's like super fast. If you need better, there are more expensive Canons. But for my money, this is the BEST printer.

Print quality is as good as the P!0. Blacks may be better. Seems to handle paper a little better and clearly provides more feedback and information on its LCD. the new printing application is a help.

I want to write this review for others looking to purchase this printer for small bussiness use. I have looked all over and had a hard time finding others using it for stickers, greeting cards, & paper products. I have tested this printer for a couple days and want to share my findings. The main reason I purchased this printer was for the pigment inks. It can be hard to find printers that run manufacture pigment inks. With printing stickers you want something that is UV resistant, and waterproof. I tested out a glossy weatherproof sticker paper and a matte weatherproof sticker paper made for inkjet printers. The print quality was fantastic on these 2 papers. They also passed my waterproof testing. I was very happy with the outcome. I also tested a 110lb white shimmer cardstock. The ink would not absorb into the card stock and overall I was quite disappointed with how it printed on this paper. I also tested matte 110lb cardstock and it printed a bit dark. I was not crazy about the quality outcome when testing cardstock. I have found that they do sell cardstock made for inkjet printers that absorb the inks better. I will have to do further testing on different types of paper. This printer is overall fantastic when you are running the correct paper. It will take trial and error to find what works and what doesn't. If you are willing to take the time to learn the settings and how to get the best quality output then this printer is really fantastic. I did not realize how large the printer would be but it's such a good looking printer and it just feels nice! I will add that I have tested another canon pigment ink printer and the ink was not waterproof. I have seen others with this particular printer printing on cardstock with fantastic outcomes so I do know it's possible. It's just about finding what works. This will pull 110lb paper easily.

This Canon PRO-300 printer is the best large format printer I?ve ever used! I just upgraded from a PRO-10 to this printer, and I couldn?t be more pleased. It?s everything a large format, home-based color printer should be. Definitely worth the money!

It?s a good printer. I am replacing the 100 series. The print quality is excellent but I don?t like the main paper feed tray. It?s not as exact as prior Canon printers. Also, ?borderless? prints often have about a 1/16 inch of white on one or two sides. Each time you change paper, you have to push the ?register? button on the printer even if it is correctly input in the Canon software. The print quality is great but it?s a pain to use compared to prior Canon printers.

It has been serving me really well. The photo I printed out is amazing. Its a lot better than actually print it outside from other company that I have been using in the past. Highly recommend

I?ve only had my Canon PRO-300 printer for a week now and have printed over 20 pictures on a variety of papers and for the most part they have all come out great. Color photos on Matte paper doesn?t give a good quality print, but for black and white the Matte paper works well. Setup was easy and other than tweaking a few settings in Photoshop I was printing within a half hour.

Very happy with quality of color and B&W prints. Used Canon, Red River, and Hahnemuhle papers with no feeding issues. Quality is fantastic using ICC profiles from paper manufacturers. Easy set up and driver installation.

I had to finally retire my i9900 after many years of excellent service and took the plunge with the ProGRAF-300. Very pleased! This printer is light years ahead of what I had become used to. Gone are the days of going back and forth to get the printer and LightRoom to be on the same page when it came to page setup, paper handling and printing. The display on the printer offers a wide variety of settings, and information. I've gone with the option of having Canon monitor ink supply and sending replacement ink as tanks run low (looking forward to seeing how that works. But the quality of the printed output is much superior to the i9900.

I had a Pro-10 previously, and it produced excellent prints. It took a while to get the settings correct but the colors are ok. Not sure it's as good as my pro-10. The paper type and paper width detection features are very annoying.

So far so good, a lot to put into one bucket and I haven’t had a chance to print much but I am looking forward to trying different papers out on it.

I am without power, so I cannot take a pic of this AWESOME imagePROGRAF Pro-300,but I can testify that this machine does handle what is thrown at it. I am talking in regards to taking prints directly from my Canon 90D and make them look great. And I mean this Canon Pro-300 really does, because I shoot raw and many. Many of which are out of focus and some distortion, and my colors aren't always clear, yet this midget beast does wonders with the end result being nothing short of "you didn't print that; that was done professionally; nah uh, you didn't do that. Ah Yes the Pro-300 did. and I pushed the print button (<well, just a few more buttons, but...)
