I just downloaded a recent update, & it's a disaster!  I have lost control about sizing my photos. It is stuck in only one format!  The previous version was working just fine, but now, I'm looking to buy a different portable. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I can't even try it because the QR code doesn't link to anything. It says no usable data. Very expensive non usable Selphy square photo printer.

Doesn't work

I bought this product like since 3 years but, it is waste money because NEVER CANT FIND THE INK FOR THIS! Why do you still sell the canon square qx10 with the ink incluid but NEVER SELL SEPARATE THE INK CARTRIDGE FOR THIS SQUARE QX10 while we was happy to enjoy with that. Sucks the INK

Works perfectly fine, for all the people saying that they ca t find the ink for it, look up Canon XS-20L, those give you the ink and photo sheets

I liked it but I could never seem to find ink for it, it's like this printer was never a thing because no matter how much time I take to find ink for it I can never find it. Do better

The printer is good. The invasion of privacy is ex machina creepy.

Requires you share your precise location every time you use

The new updated app does not work. Its not uploading any pictures. Fix the APP!  It use to work before the update. If the app does not work then the printer is useless.

APP does not work!

This worked great until I upgraded to an iPhone 12 Pro.  Now the software does not connect to the printer and there is no other software that can be used.  They just released a software update to the app and it didn't fix a thing.

Software no longer connects

The app is the only way you can print. Go to the app store and read the reviews before buying. So upset, Ive been wanting this printer for 6months and was a surprised gift. Now it's useless because the app doesn't work. 
The cannon developers is doing nothing about the complaints.

The App Don't Work Don't Buy!

The printing quality is amazing compare with other compact photo printers. Make sure you buy some papers at the same time, because it only comes with 3 paper.

Excellent Product

I was a little nervous to purchase the product at first since it’s still new and there weren’t many reviews, but I was really pleasantly surprised. The quality of the photos are really good. The coloration is slightly different sometimes but not enough to bother me. If the lighting in the original picture is good, the picture comes out really great. If the lighting is a bit darker or the picture is a little blurry, it will come out less great, but that’s expected. And again, it doesn’t bother me. I also think it’s really cool to watch the photos be printed, it goes in and out of the printer a few times to lay the ink down. It was pretty simple to set up and I have had no issues with the app the printer uses (I have an IPhone8.

Great Quality Pictures

The hardware is great. Image quality is OK (some misalignment in pigment gives a slightly soft effect, but not a deal breaker. The issue is that it can only be used with SELPHY Photo Layout app, and that is absolute garbage. It's very frustrating to use, and until Canon releases a better version (unlikely, as one-star reviews go back a year and Canon hasn't done anything to address it) I would not recommend purchasing this printer. I don't know what it will take for Canon to realize that software user experience is at times even more important that the hardware. They've dropped the ball with every application I've ever encountered, and I have used Canon products for 28 years.

Can't recommend due to software (not optional)

I have the HP Sprocket, the Fujifilm link, & the newest edition to tiny photos: Canon Selphy Square Q-10. Hands down, the picture quality and color is unbeatable, the others don’t even come close! And, best part- they are waterproof, and they last 100 years!

Excellent picture quality in a cute little form!

I got a pocket printer (from a two letter brand a few years ago as a gift. I loved the idea of a portable printer I can slip into a bag and print straight from my phone. The BIGGEST problem I had with that one is the image quality. These days, I just want clear, high quality images that last.

The SELPHY is the best of both world! It’s slightly bigger but still super light and portable. But the image quality, it’s just WOW. How does something so small print photos like this?  Setup is super easy, and I print straight from my phone. Sometimes I use Instagram or VSCO to edit first, and it comes out gorgeous.

I couldn’t be happier.  Oh, and one thing I didn’t know: INK comes with the paper! I bought extra photo paper and was so surprised.

A MAJOR step up from other portable printers

Love this printer! Image quality is unbeatable. Wish it had USB-C.

Best portable printer!

I just got mine (pink!) yesterday and have been in love! First, when you take this thing out of the box, you can feel the quality right away. It has a built in battery so it's completely wireless, which I love coming from a giant printer.

I printing some family photos straight from my phone and it looked so professional! I don't understand how they got images to look this good from such a small printer.  It's easy to use and is really pretty on my desk.  Love!
