It is not a separate piece of the camera that can be open/closed and adjusted. That is one of the drawbacks of this and any similar camera in hi-light locations.JENNIFER C : It only has an LCD screen, and not a viewfinder that you look through. Small but mighty

Like the underwater setting. Use with the underwater housing is easy and intuitive. If you are a SCUBA enthusiast and want a small camera that you don't have to fiddle with a lot of settings to get that great underwater shot, this is it.

compact camera w/all the feature....

camera is compact and it has all of the features for general daily use,video is very clear, pictures are clear even when zooming passed optical zoom, I'll take this camera along for any general event.
