I am an amatuer photographer new to DSLR photography, with an extensive background using film. I find the menu and operating system on the camera very easy to get used to and understand. I have been using my T3i for about a month now and I cannot think of anything I don't like about it. I would also recommend buying a re-furbished one from Adorama. My camera arrived right on time and in perfect condition.

Could not be happier with the price and quality of this product from Adorama. I've bought "refurbished" things in the past with great success and this was no exception. It came packaged and sealed up, just like it was from the factory--and I assume it was. Delivery was super fast. Don't hesitate, you can't go wrong.

This is a great camera. Looks like new. Unfortunately, there was a problem in that the battery discharges within a few minutes of putting it in the camera even though I am not even using live view. Tried other batteries and same problem. I need to return the camera for replacment to Adorama. But, that is what is nice about buying refurbished from them, you can do this with no problem.

This is my first DSLR and I've had it for a week. I'm loving it so far, and the experience I had buying from Adorama was awesome. It arrived quickly (faster than it would have taken directly from Canon) and the packaging was superb. The camera is more than I could have asked for and has so many features that I'm looking forward to learning about. But it also is really easy to just pick up and start shooting in Auto mode for us newbies before we get acquainted with photography techniques and settings. I'll be using this for general outdoor photography as well as astrophotography using an adapter that screws onto my telescope. I specifically picked this camera up because of its pivotable screen that will make it easier to configure when on the telescope. There is also a bunch of software available that can utilize the camera's ability to be hooked up to a computer. This is especially useful for astrophotography. The buttons on the camera are really well laid out and seem intuitive for me. I've only had a point-and-shoot but it's been an easy transition. But the picture quality has already been amazing compared with anything else I've used. The android app is also way cool! You can hook up a phone or tablet and control most of the features and see your pictures. I also tested out the video recording and the short clip I recorded looks great. Again, I am just blown away by all the features that this camera has for the price.

This is my first dSLR camera, and I am loving it. It is easy to understand and use, and the quality of my pictures are great. I've had it for about 3 weeks and I have already been able to take awesome pictures playing with different apertures, shutter speeds and ISOs. 100% recommendable.

Leary, skeptical and hesitant are my first thoughts when it comes to buying anything that that is "reconditioned". On this deal, I vacillated back in forth, but in the end the sale price was just too good for me to pass up. I went for it, placed my order, and then began my daily UPS tracking rituals. I fully expected I would receive a good working camera, just one that looked like it got hammered in a war. Or possibly one that sat in a big box store display in which thousands of people left their funk on. The camera arrived and honestly I was totally blown away at how awesome it looked. No scratches, dings, dents or chips. Cosmetically it looked brand spankin new. It appears that every single user-interfaced piece (housing, battery door, display, etc.) is brand new. And after a weekend of running it thru its paces in the beautiful rugged North Cascades Mount range, I have to say it's a great working camera. This deal changed my perspective of what "Reconditioned" is, at least at how Adorama defines it anyway. 100% satisfied.

I will begin with the quality of the camera. I have a friend who bought new one a month ago and when mine arrived he could not believe for there was no sign of being a refurb and the performance between the two cameras is the same. The video lacks continous focus but is better than that of Nikon D5100.

This camera came packaged with great insulation to protect it. THe camera itself is great. I'm reallyglad I bought it refurbished and saved a couple of bucks. Works flawlessly. First time I buy from this site and was happy with the fast regular delivery and all. Only thing I don't like is the fact that the price dropped $10 two days after I ordered. Do they match anything here if you bought it within a week of the price change or something?
