Every time I printed it would make a plastic gear scraping noise, when replacing the paper. Eventually that was the gear slowly telling me it was about to snap from its housing, and finally it snapped. Was quite upset. I loved the size, look, and easy use. What a shame.

I have always used canon printers. this printer turns off if you haven't used it for 1 hour.I had to download printer drivers every time I used it. in addition, it caused a malfunction of my printer spooler which took hours for a technician to fix. I will not use canon for the replacement

Have had this printer for over a year and now it makes a growling noise when its done printing. It still prints fine. I love the seperate ink tanks. I still havent fiquired how it pull paper from the upper or lower trays.

Out of blue, will switch from paper cassette to rear feed tray. Takes long time to figure out what to do to switch it back because can only select paper source from computer---is it the default? is it the paper size? and why switch when already printed a copy of same doc and i have changed NOTHING? would be easier there was a button on the printer itself that would allow user to select the paper source. Have not been able to set up wireless printing for more than a day or two. Have not been able to get scanner to send to computer anywhere i can find it. Usually really love canon brand but this printer is not easy to figure out.

This printer is overly complicated for providing simple functions. For printing it works ok. For anything else, such as scanning or copying, it is exceedingly difficult to the point that no body can use it in the house but me, but they have to hear me swear about it. I have not been able to scan from the unit itself. It sends you through an endless loop of choices including registering the paper, but never does it just say "hit to scan" - I just don't get it. I have to go to my computer, open up the device from the windows device listing, pick scan and then it works - but it only scans one page at a time. It has a rear paper feed function, but it doesn't work for either scanning or copying. You also have to open the front panel anytime you do something. Using a scanner/printer shouldn't necessitate this many steps or difficulty. Today, the unit won't copy. It says there is no paper in the rear, but if I open up the rear paper feed, it says it can't scan because the rear feeder is open. ??? Then it has an option to learn more about the error, but when you press the screen option, it requires me to scan a QR code. Awesome. This thing is useless to me. I didn't acquire this printer so I have something else to research/problem solve, I have enough of that with three kids. I need to get things done, Canon. We were looking for another printer to replace our HP due to high ink costs, but this Canon is NOT the solution we were looking for. This makes an HP all-in-one high operation costs more than worthwhile in comparison.

This printer has its pros and cons. I would love to return it! Pros: it prints, it’s inexpensive, & off brand ink can be used . Cons: Can’t see when paper is low, cannot easily place a slightly used sheet back in tray to use other side, & copying is not a simple process (it had me going in circles until I finally just gave up!

I’ve had this printer for a little over a year now. We bought it to replace our old PIXMA, which I still miss. It set up fine. It prints from either the PC or our phones, which we needed. It doesn’t have any bells or whistles. It seems to require a lot of hand-holding, needing things like re-registering the paper every time you fill the tray. I’d say that the biggest issue I have, and the one that brings it to just a 3 for me, is the fact that it must be “woken up” manually every time you want to print. It doesn’t just recognize that a job has been sent. Ever. And not only do you need to walk over and push a button to wake it up, but then you need to wait for it to fully connect for a minute or two. It’s frustrating every time. It’s a fine basic printer, but it’s nothing special. You get what you pay for, and we didn’t pay much.

I think Canon finally made a great little printer. It has great quality, a front and rear paper tray and is user friendly. I have always used Canon printers and this one is the smallest and the best printers for the size. I just bought three more to switch out old printers.

Belt was off one of the gears inside compartment when the item arrived and would not start up. I fixed the problem after searching around. Working ok so far.

I have had this printer for over a year. Worked great wirelessly from my desk top and from our apple products. Windows pushed thru an update several months ago, and I can no longer print from my desktop. I think I have tried everything. I see people posted that all bad reviews are from the last 6 months. I would think Canon would have issued everyone a fix.

I love Canon but this printer seems to have recurring problems. The paper keeps getting jammed even though the paper is properly installed and nothing has touched the printer. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a horrible, horrible printer. It is impossible to get a print from it whether you try to print from the cassette or from the rear slot. The paper jams every single time.

The TS6020 is a good printer. For some reason I had trouble setting it up but I called Canon support and they were great. My only objection to the printer is that the size is misleading. In order for it to work, the paper guide and the front part with the led screen needs to be open therefore making the size bigger than the actual printer itself. But it's pretty fast and I haven't had any problems. Haven't purchased ink yet so I'm not sure about that aspect.

On my complaint of my investment and accounting firms’ super-secure 4th- party web document transfer systems that NEVER work, he suggested sending by old FAX which they can’t refuse. So I hunted for and found a highly reviewed though recently discontinued multi printer that does FAX, and it’s doing everything incl FAX perfectly.

This was to replace our previous PIXMA, which lasted several years -- and then the black ink would not print. So, Canon recommended this TS6020. It's smaller and the setup requires technical support -- as did our other PIXMA. Fortunately, Canon technical support is excellent. We installed our new TS6020 and it performed flawlessly for 1 week, then it dropped its WiFi connection. We called Canon tech support and they tried everything -- downloading and installing new software 3 times, reconnecting to our modem. Still the printer would not print a document from my PC. It would print a test page from the printer, but nothing from the PC. I need a wireless printer as my wife and I both use the printer. A new TS6020 is en route. IF that fails quickly, I'll be looking for another model Canon -- even if costs 3X as much. I do like Canon's service and replacement, but the dozens of hours I've spent attempting to get this TS6020 to work is wearing down my regard for Canon printers.
