Great Printer. Had to get 3 printers. The first 2 were damaged in shipping using the identical CCanon boxes. The shipping boxes are not well padded

it has all that I wanted in a printer. I bought this one a month ago and I am very satisfied that I did.

The PIXMA TS9520 seems an excellent printer/All-in-one choice with the exception of the ink supply and designed-in eventual failure of the machine because of accumulated waste ink. The ink Canon ink cartridges, PGI-280 and CLI-281B/M/Y/C are blacked-out from residual visual inspection. Also, by design the use of print-head ink-source cleaning and deep cleaning dumps ink into a user-inaccessible waste ink tank with absorptive pads. The waste tank fills over time and shuts the machine down. Only the most valiant technician would know how to disassemble the unit to its chassis for removal, cleaning, and replacement of the waste ink/pads - then re-assemble the unit back to operation. Not noted in the instruction manual is to refrain from turning the unit OFF, which initiates a print-head cleaning cycle each time. Deep cleaning maximizes the disposal of ink into the waste ink tank, initiating the shutting down even sooner. Leaving the unit ON between usages precludes unnecessary cleaning cycles; never activating a deep cleaning extends the unit's life significantly. The TS9520 has, otherwise, excellent copying/printing/scanning capabilities.

The PIXMA TS9520 came at a great price, IMO. It was easy to set up, has all of the features I want (and more I may never use),and so far, it has been reliable and efficient. That's the most important thing for me in a home printer - I want it to work right every time I use it. I like this printer.

Have had this printer for many years - having purchased it specifically for its ability to print 11 x 17 documents. Print quality has been excellent. The only problem I have had is with the scanner - but those problems are surely due to mistakes I made in switching configuration from wireless to printer cable and then back to wireless.

I have now had this printer for several months and every time I use I am glad I purchased it! The way it operates is about as good as it gets minus a unique quirk that only applies to printing on CD/DVD discs. Let's get that one out of the way here. The only quirk about it is the one needs to detach the holder from the bottom of the paper tray and use a special area in the printer, nothing difficult, just quirky at first. Other than that it prints on discs just fine and everything. After printing 4 or five discs it is familiar. This Canon TS9520 is a game changer! This thing is amazingly efficient on ink, either that or their starter cartridges are full rather then actually "starter" carts. I thought I would get 20 pages at best, but I'm still using the "starter carts"! However, two colors will need replacement in about 3 pages or so I think. (I already have replacements waiting in the wings). I love the power management it uses as well and it doesn't use nearly as much ink on start up as other printers. My last printer used a ton of ink on start up. I have not had the need to use the autofeed nor scan yet, but if my main usage now is any indication, those features should be very good as well. This printer is also easy to use because it has a big screen that guides you as well.

Does everything my Pixma 7720 did. Except that when printing 2 sided, takes longer as ink apparently needs more drying time.

Printer absolutely refused to print, right out of the box. It would act like it was printing, but there was nothing on the page. Wouldn't even print its own network configuration page directly from the printer.

Either this is the dumbest printer/software combiunation ever invented or trhe moon is made of cheese! I b ought this printer to print on inkjet printable discs. The Canon software is NOT at ALL user friendly. After talking with a tech guy at Canon, I downloadedan old program they no longer use in order to be able to properly make a professional looking label. First I had to make a label using another company's software, then had to save it in an image file and import it, resize it(!), and print using the Image Garden software. And the printer takes so long to print a disc that if you leave it for 5 minutes it "times out" and you have to reset it, flip covers closed, wait, reopen, insert disc tray, and print the next disc. So unhappy I will never buy another Canon product. This thing makes me want to cuss every time I use it.

I have had the printer for a while now. It replaced my MX922 which is still working but wanted something newer, something with rear paper loading. But what I felt like was I got a downgrade. I would expect an upgrade but more of a downgrade. The 9520 works fine but missing a feature I did not realize. The adf is only single sided. So if you have double sided to scan you have to scan manually. So now I decided to keep the 922 for the double sided feed scan. As for build quality, the 9520 feels cheap. Their are times I feel I am going to break it. So be VERY careful. But does print much faster and a lot better. So between the 922 and the 9520, the 9520 you get the rear document feed but no duplex document feed, 922 still has fax ability (none on 9520) no rear feed.

I got the TS9520 to replace my Epson 6100. I have been using another brand of printers for years, but they use ink like crazy even in draft mode. One will pay five to six times more for the ink than they did the printer with that brand. I did a deep study of ink use and industry specs and found Canon to be the most efficient and that is currently playing out with my TS9520. I wanted the lower model that would have been more than adequate, but it is no longer made. The TS9520 is on the large side and doesn't fit on my desk completely, but I made an extension for it. It is at least twice as powerful as any of my former printers and is rich in features. It even cleans the rollers and such! It is very efficient with ink. I like that it has two sources for paper, the rear holder works well with thicker paper. Part of the secret is the paper path. The only caveats with this printer is the software for printing CDs and such. It is horrible and limited. It takes about 30 minutes to line up the image to fit a CD and you still have to pray it works. It also does not allow for changing the print quality, it is stuck on High. I wish I could choose Standard at least. The only other caveat which goes for all the printers is there is little to no support. Sadly, this is also not unique to Canon. That said, they don't repair printers these days even if one could reach anyone in support. Like with TVs, when that printer breaks yo buy a new one. That said though, I would still choose a Canon printer over any other for now.

I like that the fact this printer shares some of my preferred (and most-used) features from my previous Canon printer. Another bonus is it uses the same ink cartridges (since my previous quit working unexpectedly). Two inconveniences: 1) the TS9520 is physically bigger than my older PIXMA (I had to re-arrange the space to accommodate it); 2) the TS9520 can be fussy if the control panel isn't opened out a certain amount. Otherwise, I like this printer

Horrid printer and horid service for customers! I paid a huge amount for this printer on 8/2022 for my business because I needed high quality. There are zero instructions on how to use photo paper. You call for help and they pass you on to recordings!!! I'm so frustrated with this printer I'm ready to donate it to a dumpster. I NEED a GOOD printer!!!

I wish I had read more before buying or I would have never bought it. I was surprised that there was not a USB jack for USB drive, only an SD card slot. You cannot scan to the SD Card, you can only scan from a computer connected to the hardwire USB to computer connection.

I have and use daily a Canon Pro 100. I will be traveling for the next several months and this printer was recommended as a pro-level, more portable option. I've only been testing it a week, testing and trying to print all of my products on it before I head out in a few days. I want to love it, but I hate it. I can't get the colors correct. I can't find options for paper types, ICC profiles (i.e., matte photo paper printing), and sizing is completely off. I don't get it. It might be good. Others seem to think so. But I'm frustrated and have wasted so much costly professional paper and time. I want to bawl. I have to leave. I have spent a fortune. And I have no solution to a more portable Pro-100 to take on the road with me.

Have had one for about 6-7 years - to get the benefit of 11" x 17" printing capability I needed. One day I accidentally knocked the printer and broke a part. Purely my fault and not a weakness of printer. So without any hesitation ordered another. It works just like the first - on both USB cable connection as well as WIFI connection.

As usual, Canon makes good hardware: it prints beautifully. Also as usual, product design and software are weak. It is designed such that you can't see the trays under the flip-up screen. The previous model I had (9520 was a bit easier, in that you didn't have to manually flip up/down the almost invisible tray to operate the CD label printer-kind of negates the remote printer option. Canon needs to hire better product and software designers to go with their great hardware.

This is a perfect printer for crafting. I purchased this printer from HSN about two years ago. Wireless printing with a mobile device was a little tricky at first. But if you follow the online manual it's rather simple. There is also a PDF version available. You are not charged by Canon to print from your mobile device as another reviewer stated. You can print from your home network for free. You simply turn on WiFi on your mobile device, and connect to the same network that you printer is connected to. Printing on 12x12 cardstock is no problem either. Load your paper in the rear tray, adjust the guides, and select your media in the printer dialogue box.

I got this printer after seeing it advertised on HSN during a craft day. As an avid hobby crafter, I wanted a good printer for printing my own die cuts as well as some pictures. It does the job pretty well however, there is a very, very limited list of paper to select from considering it can print up to 12x12. there isn't an option for Labels or Sticker paper. just a basic generic setting for cardstock. I probably won't be getting another Canon after this one eventually dies. My prints are not up to the quality they could be. Disappointed in that respect. I'm not sure if it is a Mac issue or just a Canon Pixma TS9520 issue or what. No really updates to firmware that address this issue.

Easy to set up and easy to connect to our multiple computers. However, the paper tray is far too small, and needs to be restocked constantly. Also, the printer will automatically turn off if left alone too long. This may or may not be good for you, but it was not helpful to us. Fortunately, it was pretty easy to get into the settings and turn it off (or set it to whatever time period you want. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

I received the Canon PIXMA TS9520 printer as a free sample to review. This printer does just about everything. Its a scanner, copier, printer including a paper feed to print and a also a paper feed to scan multiple pages. The printer connected to my wifi and phone with ease. I printed a few pictures over wifi from my phone and the quality was great. The printer prints with speed, and is quiet. The touchscreen is adequately sized and bright, and feels sturdy while pressing "buttons". Ove...

New Canon Replaces Old Canon
By John W.
The new PIXMA TS9520 was a replacement for our PIXMA TS990 model that had ended its useful life. I chose it because it will print 11x17-inch photos in the brilliant colors that I'm used to with Canon. It was easy to install by following the startup guide, and I chose the USB connection rather than the wireless feature. Some reviews complained about having to open the control panel when initiating print jobs, but this is only a minor inconvenience since the control panel and paper output tray ...
