This thing is so great to bring with you on hiking trips. We recently went to Vancouver/Whistler Canada and brought this on our hike and used it to see a bald eagle in the distance. It zooms really well and is lightweight.

I received the Canon digital monocular a few days ago and it is really cool. The notice is very clear and the menus are very intuitive. It may take a bit of time to master the buttons functionality and where they are when looking in the monocular but you will get used to it. The monocular is great when you are kind of far from the action. We used it for our daughter's dance show, without it, it was difficult to clearly see her but with the monocular no problem. I really like the fact that we can take pictures and movies with the memory card included in the package. I was also very surprised by the picture and video quality The zoom function is very simple. There are only 3 modes but it turns out they are well chosen. I can also tell that the monocular does not leave me when I am going out, there are always some things to spot...

I was excited to take this ZOOM Digital Monocular when we go on vacations or just walks in general around the home. The thing I like most about this monocular is the zoom features, it does get nice and up-close images. The downside, is the images are okay, not the clearest so I am not sure this would be for professional use. Overall, easy to use and easy to hold onto

I got this for my upcoming Alaska bucket list trip. I was excited to open the box and feel how light the Monocular is and all of the things that came with it, including a 16g memory card. Well then, I started trying to set it up. Oh, how it stressed my little brain. I did not read the directions because I'm used to fun tech toys, but the menu is not easy or fun. Once I started getting to know it, I did find it interesting. I'm excited to take it on our cruise to take wildlife photos in the beautiful state of Alaska. I think the best part of it is how compact it is and can fit in my purse or pocket.

These binoculars are pretty neat. You can zoom into things my favorite to zoom in on are the stars at night while laying in a hammock it makes you feel like you are so close to the stars even when you know your so far away

The Canon Zoom Digital Monocular is so much better than expected. First, I love the small size of the camera. You can slip it into your pocket and take it anywhere. It is so lovely being able to take pictures of just about anything. Do you see something you like far away? It is not a problem with this camera. It has such an incredible zoom capability. You can take close-up pictures of sports games and nature or use it as an everyday traveling camera. It also takes video. I appreciate the Bluetooth connection to your phone. It makes image transfer so easy. With the invention of cameras on smartphones, I never thought I would want to carry a camera again, but now that I have this camera, I have completely changed my mind. My phone?s camera does not even compare to this one. It is in a whole other league.

Overall I really like this. I'll be using it on my nature hikes and hunting adventures. It's quick and easy to use. Operation interface using the buttons takes a little time to get used to, but after a few trips out into the wild it became second nature. The connection to the phone app via wifi or bluetooth is very convenient. It makes review on a larger screen quick when necessary and for me very functional. I'd give this 5 stars, if it wasn't for the perceived lack of stabilization through the viewer at higher magnification. It's hard to keep my hand as steady as needed for the higher magnification. After using it for a couple weeks I really wanted a miniature tripod attachment point to use when in a bird blind, or out on the hunting trail. I can resolve the with a third party product, but it would be great if the next evolution had that input.

This digital monocular is really neat. It's light and easy to carry around. The zoom is great when you are just using it to view something further away however keep in mind if you capture a picture or video it may still be a bit pixelated. Overall this is great for casual use and capturing unexpected moments easily.

I really wanted to like the Canon Zoom Digital Monocular, but there is room for some much needed improvements. This Monocular will zoom in a great distance but the more you zoom in, your pictures becomes that much more distorted. If I use the zoom feature I find I have to pull it away from my eye and refocus again on the item I am wanting to take a picture of. I do love how compact and lightweight it is, small enough to fit in a purse or pocket without weighing you down.

The zoom on this is amazing but does lack clarity. If they could achieve clarity at a 20x zoom this would fly off the...well, actually..if they can get the tech to a major cellular provider it would be tremendous! This is really great for sporting events too.

This is a wonderful gadget. It stabilizes the image. The magnification is wonderful. The fact you can zoom in better than a iPhone camera is amazing. The zoom is also very detailed. Say your in the stands far away and want to capture the players face..this is the gadget for that. Very lightweight and comes with everything you need. It fits in your pocket and has a microSD card that goes with it. This is a plus for me.

This digital monocular has been a very handy little gadget to have with me while on vacation. It?s lightweight and small enough to put in my handbag, pocket, or travel bag without being bulky or taking up too much space. It detects when your eye is placed near the viewfinder and autofocuses for the best viewing quality. Setup was quick and easy, and it didn?t take long to charge it up for first-time use. The 16GB SD card that comes with it allows for plenty of space to store both photos and videos. I can easily switch between 100mm, 400mm, or 800mm zoom with just the push of a button. I can also wirelessly connect it through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth if needed. This monocular is a great alternative to traditional binoculars which are bulky and don?t have the same capabilities as this monocular does.

This was a nice concept, but unfortunately it fell short for me. It is nice and compact, but the quality of the photos/videos were very grainy. I?m order to upload the photos and videos to my phone, it required an app that connects via Bluetooth. But, the Bluetooth would go in and out even with both devices in my hands.

The cannon zoom digital monocular is a great way to see nature upclose! The kit comes with a nano charger and also includes a class 10 memory card. We used this for the first time on a boat ride. The one touch zoom where you can change from 100 to 400 to 800mm is such an awesome feature. I also like how another person can see the same view from the monocular via using the app on a phone. I was able to get a few great pictures using the monocular. Overall a nice zoom digital monocular.

This has to be the coolest gadget I have. The zoom is strong you can get clear pictures farther than you'd imagine. It did take me a little bit to be able to tell if it was on. But other then that the instructions where super straightforward and easy to figure out how to use. I love that the images are stores straight to the memory card and there's not having to move them over. The quality of the images is stellar.

This camera is small and handy. It?s easy to program shoot and record with one touch. It almost feels like you have on half a Binoculars. The picture quality isn?t too bad and the transfer to PC is even easy.

It's sort of fun to use, but I can take better pictures with my phone and regular 35mm. I believe the lense is vulnerable, especially in my bag. I think it should have some type of lense cover. I've decided to keep it in a little drawstring bag. I do like the zoom, but it is definitely not great. Definitely lower quality for a Canon camera.

This is a very easy to use digital monocular with very good image stabilization and decent focus. Three zoom settings. The digital zoom essentially crops/enlarges the 400mm Optical zoom. The device is easy enough to use one handed due to its light weight and easily accessible buttons. The best function/use of this monocular would be taking quick pictures and videos at a medium/short distance. Ideal for those with kids in sporting events. It powers on very fast and is as easy as pointing and clicking. The stabilization eliminates the chance of taking blurry photos/videos, and is one of the strongest features for such a small and light device with the purpose of capturing enhanced imagery as quickly as possible. A bit of a niche product but it does what it's advertised well. It works best in environments in good light and during the daytime to avoid grainy images. Battery life is not as good as I'd like. Some problems focusing on objects when behind foliage etc. The Canon Connect app required for saving images wirelessly between the monocular and your phone feels a bit outdated. It's a bit slow to connect but it's better than no app at all. Also no lens covers for a highly portable product that's supposed to be used outside is a small oversight, at least a carrying case would be a great addition.

This monocular is wonderful for what our family primarily uses it for which is baseball! We love the features and how clear the view is. It?s wonderful ability to add a SIM card and save all the images we want to us priceless. Would recommend to any sports family as a must have in your game bag!
