outside shell is double sided taped on and fell off before I got it and wouldn't stay on. I took off the shell and went without it which made it smaller and lighter. Does the job but very cheaply made.

I bought my first aluminum case many years ago. This is my second, and it has certainly done the job quite well. I have literally rolled over this case with a Dodge Pickup on a gravel road with out any damage to the CF cards inside(not sure I recommend this as a test). You won't go wrong if you order this case or any like it for your memory cards!

Outer casing falls off, but inside is sturdy and protects the cards. Would feel better if the aluminum outer casing wasn't just taped or tape/glue was used that HELD.

This card case had a decent enough rating, and it was cheap, so I thought it was worth a try. Literally the second time I tried to use it, one of the aluminum sides simply ripped off. It's held on by two small pieces of weak double-sided tape. Hardly durable at all. I ripped the other side off and added some super glue; that's drying now. This should not be necessary, though, and I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Also, the case isn't very easy to open. Even if the sides didn't rip off, I still wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

This is a great product. Fits in the pocket well enough and offers great protection for your CF cards. Strong an durable. No downside at all and a great price.

the aluminum cover was off when I received it, I just took them off and now it is fine but doesn't look too good. It was only [$] and hopefully it will help me stop misplacing my cards but the aluminum is held on with double sided tape and it doesn't stick well at all.

I have another version of these that don't suffer the issue of the metal outter casing just falling off. That is my biggest complaint with these. Although I would buy them again.

This is my second case and I now carry both. They are dented and scarred but my cards are absolutely fine. Great insurance for the cards!

I also have the Hakuba CF card case. I prefer the aluminum cases to neoprene. I feel that the cards are better protected.

I decided to buy two of these CF holders mainly for the price and the great rating. After a week of extremely lite use one of the holders' outer shell was coming apart from the holder itself. There were two other customers who mentioned this same issue in their reviews. I guess it's just an issue of the product being good for the money, just not well made. [...]

This is a strong, well-constructed and convenient case for up to four CF cards. I would have given it five stars if only the cards didn't tend fall out of their compartments when the case is opened—if instead, they were held snuggly in place. As things are, one doesn't want to open the case in circumstances where a card might fall out and be lost.

Case is good for storage. The outside covering is held on with tape that was popping off the minute that I opened. Kept since it is not worth returning and the hassle. Buy the Lowepro case.

I got 2 of these and have had them about a month and I like them. The first thing to go on it will probably be the hinge but other than that they are sturdy. Much nicer than CF cards laying all over the place. For the money you can't go wrong.
