This is a wonderful case to carry your SD cards. This sill keep them safe and sound. Tough and small making it easy to carry and can be thrown into any bag.

I will admit I wasn?t expecting much at this price point, but this is an incredibly nice case for your memory cards. Thoughtfully engineered and the design evokes a Rimowa suitcase. Hugely impressed given the price, I would have expected to pay $30-40 for a case of this quality.

Seems secure and relatively weather tight, but I find it hard to open. Much more difficult to use than my old case for my compact flash cards.

i purchased this aluminum storage case 8 slot for carrying my hunting esounds for my ecaller. very well built for safe transportation out in the field. the cards fit perfectly and are easily removed. there is ample room to label each card. very happy with this purchase.

It seems like good case, but it won't hold SD cards in place. Half of them are loose when you open the case. Even if you bend the SD cards to force them into the holding areas. Maybe it will work better with something other than SD cards.

I destroyed a brand new Lexar card putting it into the case. The way the forms for the cards are positioned if you put the electrical contacts facing away from the thumb insertion cutout you will break off the write protect tab on the memory card. I wanted to put my cards so that the electrical contacts are on the other side where I stick my fingers in, but the hardness of the liner and the lack of a cutout for the card means that putting the card in will snap the tab off the card. If you spin the card around so the electrical contacts are where you place your finger then the tabs do not get broken, but you are getting finger oil etc. on your electronics.

Although it is a metal case as expected, it has some problems that make me recommend not buying this case. First off, the clip mechanism to spring open the case barely does anything. It is a struggle to open - unlike the metal case that I bought of the same design from a different company years ago for my CF cards. Next, the inside slots are a roof if plastic with almost no give to them and they do not easily take the SD cards and hold them. Finally, and a huge issue for me - the plastic tabs that stick out to grip the cards are poorly placed - and simply pressing one of my 32 gb Lexar pro cards into the slot resulted in the write protect tab being snapped off the card. The tabs stick right into the spot on the cards where the write protect tab sits. If you spin the card around so the electrical contacts are at the tips where your fingers go in to pull the cards the tabs are okay, but this means every time I pull a card I risk touching the electrical contacts. So by saving a few pennies on this case I now have a case I won't use and have lost the use of one of my high end memory cards.

I would recommend this product. Cards stay in place and it latches tight, however the button to open is sometimes a pain. The case is hard and will definitely project the cards inside.

Bought this to organize my SD cards in my camcorder case. Works great! Looks like I could store micro SD cards under the full size SD cards if needed. Will give that a try if I need to at some point.

This product is not consistent in its structure. I brought two of these. One was perfect and the other was faulty. The replacement one was better but not perfect.
