This is an update to my prior review of this card. After confirming, yet again, that the problem was directly related to the card, I contacted Delkin directly for support, and they were phenomenal, replacing the card within two weeks. Unfortunately, the only improvement with the new card was from 20% corrupt to nearly 50% corrupt. I don't know where I'll go with this issue from here, but I won't be buying a new Delkin card in the future.

I am a freelance outdoor sports photography specializing in rock climbing. I purchased this card a few weeks ago because the large memory and high speed promised to cut down on missed shots due to full buffer and the need to change cards while on a rope several hundred feet off the ground. Unfortunately, when I took this card on my first shoot I learned the tradeoff was speed and capacity in exchange for 10-20% of my shots corrupted on every upload. This is not a camera issue or user error as it does not happen on my other CF cards. I have placed an inquiry with Delkin about the warranty, but not received a reply. This is not the card to use if every shot counts.

The Delkin 8GB CompactFlash Pro UDMA6 enabled card delivers industry-leading read/write speeds with a sustained transfer speed of 63MB/second for enhanced camera-to-card and card-to-computer transfer times and considerably improved workflow for any pro photographer in the field.
The improved speed of the CompactFlash Pro UDMA6 card can make a crucial difference in workflow for those working in the field with battery operated laptops and can be particularly important for pros working in news media, wedding or event photography. Certainly any photographer working with larger RAW files will experience a great benefit in faster transfer speeds in the camera and computer.
