I take photos all of the time and this card is the Greatest!. once the software is installed on your pc, you just use it like a regular SD card. I come in the front door, turn the camera on and wow! the photos are loaded on my computer. Alot of times, while taking photos outside my house, the photos appear on my computer BEFORE I even walk in!. It is just so cool!

Wanted to use this with my laptop or Ipad when I travel. The Eye-Fi has to be synched with each wireless router before photos can be transferred. I had not understood this when I purchased it. When I travel, I may encounter many wireless routers and it is inconvenient to have to sync to each of them. But it works well otherwise and the price is reasonable.

I have found uses for this card way past it's intended. I linked the card to my "jail-broken iPhone" and installed the free Eye-Fi app. from the app-store. I now have a portable 16 gig backup in my pocket that my Canon Digital Rebel AUTOMATICALLY downloads to with every shot. Even if the 2 GB Eye-Fi Card were to get filled up all my shots have already been saved on my phone. I just clear the card and I'm off shooting more. This thing is worth every cent.

Totally love the Eye-Fi's. As with any new toy, setting up might take some time if you want to do it right; but if you have experience playing with Wi-Fi toys, it should be a breeze and once set, absolutely awesome. Don't have to pull it out of the camera; Just turn on, put the camera in play and let it do it's work. It's not the product's fault if you don't know how to setup a Wi-Fi connection. Another side benefits, for photojournalism, in case of a have "you have to delete that" situation, have a Mi-Fi hot spot or a Cradlepoint portable router, you can have it on with a 3G/4G connection, and as you shoot they automatically upload your photos as you shoot. Also there's the "unlimited" storage feature, which will allow the card to delete already uploaded photos to always have space. Like I said, awesome product!

First, the reviews here are SO unfair, because they could not download the card or had capatability issues they gave it a bad name.Second, I love this card and don't know if I'll ever go back to using the SDHC card for my camera. It uploads easily and all I have to do is turn on my computer & camera and it's crazy fast.Third, it's really expensive. I want to download RAW photos with my DSLR but I can't honestly justify why I should spend [$] on a card since I'm just a hobbyist or novice.Finally, if you want to put out the money it's worth the cost!

I never used to download my pictures - it was too confusing & frustrating for me. Then I found eye-fi and my life & love of picture taking got so much easier. I can download all my pictures just by placing my camera near my computer! What pleasure - it's amazing!!
