I do high volume inspections for Mortgage companies. My inspections average 6 - 10 photo's. Some inspections are 40+ photos. I do anywhere from 40 to 200 inspections a day. I used to use USB to transfer photos. Eventually the cable, or the internal camera connector would wear out, and photo's would start to be a real hassle to transfer to my computer, and charging would be spotty. Now I use no cable at all, and it does it automatically. I have switched to a external battery charger.. So no more cables. BEST INVENTION EVER! So cool it transfers right to my computer, into a folder I designate... immediately! BAM! The range could be better, but it's fine the way it is. Thanks Eye-fi and Adorama. Great price, great product.

The only issue I have is that when the image is sent to the computer it is very small. I solved this by sending it to Picassa, and then, clicking on the image to enlarge it filling my computer screen. I plan to call the manufacture to see if there is a better solution. Aside from this small inconvience it is a great product. Most happy.

I was concerned about ease of use after reading several reviews with negative comments, but the Eye-fi web site has great detailed directions for setting the card up and using it with an iPad. I followed them and it worked the first time with no issues. I love it for being able to review images quickly after shooting so I know what needs to be changed, rather than waiting till later and reviewing them on my PC and wishing I had realized that something wasn't quite right. Only negative is that it does take a few seconds for the transfer. Not a deal breaker, but something that could be improved for future. I use it with my Nikon D7000 with two card slots, so have flexibility to record RAW on other card.

I love how easy it is to automatically upload images to a designated folder! This is one of the best things I've purchased! Love it! It was a little tricky to get setup, but I didn't have to call support. I don't consider myself super savvy with this stuff either. The one thing that I have noticed is that if you are having trouble getting it to start uploading images that you took yesterday, take another picture, and that usually kick starts it. One thing that I did notice was that it seemed slow to upload until I got a new computer. Now it uploads pretty quickly. This is overall a great product, and I love the wireless convenience!

No help from the Eye-Fi people. I asked for some. Could not get it to work and I'm pretty computer savvy. So much easier to just plug my camera in and be done with it. Very frustrating. Don't spend the money.

I own an Olympus E-P3 and it supposely works well with it but I am still having problems in making it works. It is not as easy and straight forward as it advertised.

This is the first I ever used any Eye-fi product and it surly lives up to it's promises. It's best use is for transfer of images after a long day of shooting. Once you have gone through the gauntlet of setting up the software which includes a couple visits to the Eye-fi website, it performs as expected. One thing to make sure you do is install the preloaded software that is on the card itself first, if you start taking pics and format the card you'll have to go to their website to download the software. I did expect lag in writing time during transfer but RAW images will be a long wait so best to plug in directly for that. Videos will lag too so I personally chose the option to manually upload. Another Issue with it is sometimes the card writes slow- meaning there is a back-log of sorts, and can lock you out during shoots with fast pace action. I use it in my Nikon D7000 and every now and again it does that which would run you the risk of missing good moments. I don't see using this for pro studio transfer on the fly but very nice for normal vacation shots and the like or end of day transfer. It is definitely good for backup on other devices on the road.

With its new direct mode and a double card camera, like the D7000, you can transfer you jpgs without jailbreaking your iPad. Why this and not the pro? The pro tranfers raws and jpg, and as the ipads doesnt have enough room, youll be better with this. With my D7000, I can store a LOT of jpgs in this 4gig card and be sure to not fill my ipad to show the client the work in progress! It also works with my android phone, so i can upload images on the go! The only Con is when sometimes loses connection, just check again your wifi networks and will sync automatically.
