I use this On Board Sailboats on Stanchions and Rigging I also use it on a "Stick" (Deckbrush,Boathook) for a monopod set-up. It does tend to loosen up from vibration and wind and attach a Lanyard and ZipTies for added security. Use common sense, Your $$$$$ Camcorder on a $$ Mount. Good use it for time lapse repairs onboard also. Mike McV

I can mount it to anything that the straps can reach around. It is easy to get the camera on it, too.
