About Plustek D430
The Plustek MobileOffice D430 lets you scan anywhere by simply plugging the compact unit into a USB port on your computer, no power outlet is needed. The D430 features 2 sensors for easy auto duplex scanning. The scanner works at a fast 33 ppm (1-sided) and can scan pages up to 8.5" wide and 50" long. In addition to scanning standard pages, you can even scan plastic cards such as credit cards, licenses and membership cards. 2 customizable buttons provide an easy way to automate common scan types such as scan to PDF, to OCR software, Evernote, Picasa and Microsoft Office.
The included software suite lets you take full advantage of what the scanner has to offer. Hotcard BizCard Finder automatically extracts contact information from scanned business cards and stores the data in a spreadsheet. ABBYY FineReader converts scanned documents into editable text and support up to 183 languages. Once scanned, the documents can be saved into useful formats such as Microsoft Word and Excel files and Adobe PDF files. Other software includes Plustek DI Capture for managing your scanned files and DI Express which provides OCR support for Traditional & Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
