Provides that little bit extra protection from bumps and scratches while giving me full access to all controls and functions.

disappointed

After trying a friends camera with this grip I was really disappointed when I got mine. It was very slippery to hang on to compared to the one I tried. The grips that came made into the camera body did a better job. And the rubber buttons were pushing on the camera buttons and preventing the screen display and playback. I returned it.
