Great camera for hiking! GPS will help relocate. Power button too "soft" for hiking. I'm concerned that the camera will turn "on" if brushed. Glad the Casio Best Shot menu was retained from previous model. GREAT CAMERA!

This is a very nice camera and easy to use. The only complaint I have is that you can easily turn it on when putting the camera into the camera case or just by pushing other buttons. That being said, I would still buy it again. It takes great pictures.

As a way to record GPS tracks of where you have been it excels. The battery life is very good, at least a week with no strain largely depending on the shots taken. of course. I wish there was a way to edit those tracks though, but I suppose some aftermarket software will fill the need. The maps however are the reason for the title. They are virtually useless, even in the detail areas since they lack street names. It might help point out a tourist spot you might have missed but even those are lacking in number. Pictures are acceptable if you watch the ISO setting and use the SR setting.More at [@] (is it OK to add a website?)

Wonderful Camera with lots of features. I purchased the camera for the GPS feature. Very disappointed in the GPS tagging. I live in Western FL but camera tags me in Cuba. Called Casio Support several times; They never returned my calls.

There are several bugs in the current version 1.01 firmware. For example, for a photo taken in Canada, the gps coordinates in lat, long indicate south latitude and east longitude when the photo is displayed in "play" mode while being correctly displayed in "map mode" by pressing the SET button. Direction information and altitude information can only be obtained by opening the photo in "exiftool-gui" for windows. Would be nice to have UTM as an option and choice of feet or meters. There is a lot of undocumented information not included in the user manual. Some pictures cannot be taken indoors depending on the user settings, for example manual focus together with the af light turned off. Movie mode works fine indoors. All pics taken outdoors come out great so would recommend this camera. A wish list would include the ability to add user maps to the EX-H20G in future upgrades.

SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAMERA 5 DAYS AGO, I HAVE SHOT SCENICS, PEOPLE, PETS, MOVING HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGES, CHRISTMAS LIGHT DISPLAYS (AT MIDNIGHT), ARCHITECTURE, DECORATIVE FOUNTAINS, PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING THAT PASSED IN FRONT OF MY FACE. THE ONLY BAD PHOTOS TAKEN I CAN ATTRIBUTE TO MY USING THE WRONG SETTINGS FOR THE SHOT. PREMIER AUTO FEATURE IS GREAT! I LOVE NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY AND THE LOW LIGHT AND NIGHT MODES HAVE WORKED EXTREMELY GOOD SO FAR. I TAKE LOADS OF PIX WHEN I'M TRAVELING AROUND TEXAS, AND I AM ANXIOUS TO SHOOT SEVERAL SPECIFIC PLACES WITH THIS CAMERA
