I have a 64-bit Windows 8 desktop and it run fine. The rolling scan of the targets is SO MUCH EASIER (and faster) than the early versions of SpyderPrint.KENNETH J : Yes.

If you buy spyderPRINT you still have to buy spyder pro or a similar product to calibrate your monitor for the best results. I use a ColorMunki product there is are no issues working between different systems. Calibrate your monitor first and then the printer.MICHAEL B : Yes you will need to purchase both the Spyder Pro spectrometer for the Spyder4Elite 4.5.4 software. They are both different spectrometer and Spyder Print uses a different style that will not work with the Spyder4Elite software. I encourage you to purchase the Spyder Studio. Only purchase the Spyder Print if your canned profiles that come from vendors paper is not adequate or you want the ultimate color management workflow. I would start with the Spyder Studio and get your monitor calibrated and then use your canned profiles. If you still do not have the color reproduction you desire then purchase the Spyder Print.MARTIN N : You will need both. Spyder Pro to calibrate your monitor and Spyder Print to calibrate your printer.LADDY O : Spyderprint is for the printer only. Simple to use, offers customization options.

Nice and easy to use. The app guides you through all steps in the process. I like that it has tools to further tweak your profiles before saving them. The strip reading method is finicky, but the patch reading method is reliable and not too time consuming. It's cool that it also can act as a spot color reader for objects.

You have to know every detail of setup.

Printer matches monitor perfectly. But you must install colorsync profiles exactly right and configure everything exactly right or it won't work. If your prints don't match your monitor then you have not installed something correctly. It is not the fault of Spyder Print. Trust me, It took me weeks to nail down my issues but when I did, the result is spectacular.

Got the colors back on my printer!

I bought an Epson R2880 reading the reviews and it was stunning for black & white prints. The color prints had weird colors. Tried everything and didn't work. Finally I bit the bullet and bought the SpyderPRINT. Now my prints look like they appear on my profiled monitor. The scan adapter is not wide enough for A3 paper and that's why I gave it a 4-star rating. Otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to rate it at 5-stars.
