The Datacolor SpyderCheckr arrived quickly and feels very solid. The color cards fit into each side of the case magnetically and the case stays closed the same way. Both color cards have white balance/grey cards on the reverse side.  The 1/4-20 hole at the bottom of the case and the spring-loaded one at the top are very handy for mounting. The Datacolor product package included a software download code (no physical media). The software was quick and easy to install, and it works great with Lightroom.
I've wanted a color checker for a long time, and I am very happy with my purchase.

Easy Process to Correct Color!

Love it! So helpful in editing to ensure colors are properly matched and corrected .

Get it for better color correction

I bought the SpyderX and SpyderCheckr at the same time. The SpyderX installed just fine on my Mac and worked exactly as I thought it would. The SpyderCheckr software will not install on my Mac. When installing the SpyderX software, the installer asks for the admin password, and it installed as normal. The SpyderCheckr software appears to be very old, despite the fact that I downloaded the latest version from Datacolor, and it does not ask for my admin password. It just gives me an error saying I don’t have permission to install the software. I called Datacolor, and they were not able to help. If I can’t figure a solution, I’ll be returning this and picking up the X-Rite ColorMunki. The physical SpyderCheckr is nice, but without the accompanying software, it’s useless to me. Very disappointed.

Software Won’t Install

I get great colors everytime with this. Nice tool to have in your camera bag. Highly recommended.

Good tool to have

I have found that after using the Spyder Checkr to color calibrate my images, the colors pop with vibrancy I have not seen before. Highly recommended. Take time to learn the device and apply it appropriately , and you will  get great results
