I only consider using San Disk memory cards for my photography needs. They are completely reliable.

I buy only SanDisk memory cards for their reliability. This is the first time I've run into an instance where I couldn't download images from the card. SanDisk is replacing it but makes me skeptical about the other 2 cards I purchased with this one.

I test this one and the SanDisk 16GB Extreme Compact Flash Memory Card60MB/s .In two Nikon d2xs side by side and the less 30 MB/s is faster. Save the $$$ and go with this one .I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it over 60MB/s in nikon D2x cameras.I have been using SanDisk cards for many years.

I felt I needed a few extra high capacity cards for an upcoming trip. I usually download images to a pc, to a portable hard drive and a usb flash drive. This trip I'm going to try and not reformat the cards so that I'll have yet another backup.

SanDisk memory cards were recommended to me by my brother years ago. I have never had a problem with one, and I have several. My first 16GB card was bought when I purchased my Canon 7D in order to have space to record video. I wanted another to have plenty of memory for trips I plan to take.

I have never used any other brand than SanDisk when buying a compact flash card. My brother gave me good advice when I asked what brand to buy years ago! There have been no problems, so I stay with what I know works. I bought my first 16GB card when I purchased my Canon 7D to have more space for video recording. For me, it is just what I need.

For the price these are great, Not the fastest card out there, but works excellent for DSLR video where having a handful of cards is a must.

When I bought my first pro level dslr the only cf cards the store carried were 100mb cards that cost 5 times as much. Once while traveling on a photo expedition I needed another card and the only ones the store carried were 16mb cards (for about the same price as these). I have also used several SanDisk Ultra cards in the past. So I have experience with three different speed levels in my pro dslr. The difference bewteen the 16mb and these cards is clearly evident. But the difference between the 100mb cards and these cards is undetectable. For the pro dslr I use, it appears that the 30mb transfer rate is about as fast as the camera can handle. Maybe if your use is video you'll need the super fast cards, but it's my experience that for dslr's these cards work as good as those that cost 5 times as much. I have also never lost an image stored in my SanDisk cards, but I have with other cards, so they are also very stable. As fast as a pro dslr can handle, low cost and 100% reliable. You can't do any better

I use this product when I shoot weddings and birthdays photos. It's not a good choice when shooting videos or fast burst. Most of the time it tends to corrupt the files. I was filming a wedding once with my 7d and most of the clips I captured were corrupted. I had to spend from my earnings to recover those .mov files. No, I do not recommend this product to a friend if he's going to use it for shooting videos or fast burst.

I don't know why the other reviews are 4 stars, this is definately a 5 star product. It holds more photographs and raw files than my batteries will hold up for.

Using this for stills photography it allows a lot of images to be stored and is plenty fast enough for the money
