These are the perfect little MP3 players for listening to my audio books. I have bought several of these over the years for my personal use as well as given them for gifts. Easy to load and use and the battery stays charged for enough hours to listen to a nice long book without having to be recharged. I highly recommend them.

This device is perfect for jogging/walking/working out. Yes, it's very basic, but that's all a serious runner or athlete needs. I load it with music and podcasts, clip it on, and then don't have to look at it again to change the volume, the song, or the sequential podcast. You can do it all by touch with the raised buttons. This is ideal for someone who is more interested in the exercise than the technology. I've destroyed a couple of the years (dropped in water, run over in the car), and I always buy an extra to keep in a drawer so I'll never be without.

Importing songs doesn't work, i import my recording, my clip jam has enough space, then when i change the song from .m4a to .mp3 the song doesn't play when i select it after importing it.

This is my second ClipJam. I like the size and the relative simplicity. The price is reasonable. My first one died, apparently, because I stopped using it for a while. I guess the battery has to be recharged regularly. Alas, once the battery goes, it's done. The battery is not replaceable. I must say, the process for registering it to get the warranty was unnecessarily complicated and time consuming. I went to the trouble because it seems everything these days is declining in quality and so, who knows how long this one will last. I may as well have that warranty activated.

First I would say the 4 stars are for my initial appraisal as I have only had this player for a few months and it does everything I want it to do. It plays my flac, ogg, wav and m4a (AAC) files as I learned from my hours of research and verification from others. Primarily I listen to music but also listen to downloadable radio interviews and audio only plays and out door environmental recordings (found sound). Given what this player is, the audibility of it is good. Try the player out, if you can, with something you know well audibly with a pair of over the ear headphones. SD card storage is great if on a long trip and its so small it fits anywhere, mine stores and plays from within a eye glasses case. It is not cheap in my country so if it still good in years time it perhaps should have 5 stars.

We have several of these players. My kids each have one to put their favorite songs and books on. These are awesome players, durable, good sound quality, plenty of space, affordable price, fun colors, and very user friendly. I've had several different types of mp3 players and these are by far my favorite.

Despite what the data sheet says, it will not play m4a files. Bought this model specifically because it said it could play those files. I didn't want to go through the hassle of converting my whole library to mp3. Very disappointed they lied about this. If you've ever used itunes with your music, don't bother with this player.

Device does not show up on computer at all. Not even a "Not Recognized" notification; just nothing. Spend more money on a different brand. Tired of companies thinking they can get away with selling brand new broken items. I left it sit for a bit before using so no warranty for me!

When i first got this, a long time ago, I loved it. However, I lost it. About 3 years ago, I got another, and I used it all the time. It's easy to download music onto it via computer, and it's small enough to fit into small spaces for storage. It started malfunctioning about a year ago. where it would refresh my media every time i turned it on, and freeze when on the radio setting sometimes, and other times it would turn off and turn on again (still on the radio setting). Then, it just started working normally again, and to this day I have no clue why. Today it fell victim to water damage, and I am devastated. However, that's why I found myself here, and I'm gonna buy another. Thanks?

Love the simplicity of this powerful little device. Love that it also comes with an AM/FM radio tuner built in unlike my much more expensive and overly complex smartphone. Audio quality is off the charts good for the price too. Crystal clear compared to my older equipment made by a "fruit" company.

Great little gizmo! Finally replaced my 13 years old SanDisk MP3 which was down to just 4 to 5 hours after a full charge. My New MP3 Jam gets a full 18 hours of playtime while cycling in 40F - 60F weather. The ability to enhance the 8 memory of the MP3 with SanDisk 16 or 32 or 64 SDHC memory cards is a super practical way to enhance my classic rock & jazz music appreciation while engaged in sporting activities like cycling, skiing or running. Now my music library is with me everywhere I go!

These are very convenient, music is very easy to organize, it does not rearrange all your music like other MP3 players. I use it while exercizing, driving or just as a back up to my vast music collection. The 64gb microSD card can be swapped between players when one goes bad. On the negative they last a year or 2 at most. They are fragile! In active use, the causes of failure had been sweat, left in the sun, left in cold card below freezing or the battery just runs out and does not recharge. I am on my fifth one. I consider it worth the price, suggest buy 2 at a time. ALSO the display window is very small, i need reading glasses to read it. If it was just 30-40% bigger and more robust it would get 5 stars all around. So convenience 5 stars design 3 quality of construction 1.

I bought this to replace a supposedly identical device. Unfortunately, the software seems to have changed. I can sync my music and my playlists, but the playlists sync as empty. Every solution I've found for this involves a ridiculous amount of renaming of files and manual manipulation of the playlists. 100% not worth it, and apparently I'm already past my return window because I kept trying to find a solution that didn't involve returning the device.

I use this to sleep at night. it's plugged into speakers and powered by my laptop (which is a brick, offering only power). I play rain and thunder, and the charge of this unit lasts for two to three days. It's a small unit made of thin plastic, but it just sits on my night stand. It works well and does what it should do.
