The wireless app (SanDisk Connect Drive) is a little clunky and involves switching your device's WiFi connection everytime to the SanDisk transmitter -- but it works. I have the app on our iPhones and iPads. For the Mac of course the easiest way is to plug it in to a USB port and use Finder, especially for editing the contents and adding folders and sub-folders. Alternatively, a wireless connection on the Mac to the SanDisk stick requires using an internet browser connection directly to the IP address of the stick -- much like most wireless printers, routers and back-up drives use today. The browswer page shows you the stick and its contents, but is certainly less elegant than the Finder display or the display on the iOS devices. Also, there seems to be no way to use the browser to DOWNLOAD files from the Mac to the stick; the only transfer button on the browser is for UPLOADING files from the stick to the Mac. With the SanDisk stick connected to the iOS devices you can go both ways.

I use it with my iPad Pro and it's a great companion and a big deal when comparing with the Apple's storage prices, internal and cloud.

Make sure you update the firmware. Sometimes the device hangs up while backing up pictures. I have no idea why. I'm still troubling shooting this. I am using IOS on an iPad. Seems to work just fine with Android devices. I love the idea, I'm sticking with it, and hope future firmware updates make it run smoother.

This product met or exceeded all of my expectations allowing me to combine important data stored on more than one PC, with transfer speeds that were very acceptable.

It won't connect to wifi, and the price dropped ($) after couple weeks. My worst purchase ever.

Here I thought you'd just hook up to it and browse it in your phone's file manager. But apparently you have to use the app or use it within a network.

I use this to stream music through a lower end android phone. I have been very pleased with the functionality-sound is continuous, no dropouts (I do keep it near the phone). The sound quality is excellent (my files are mp3s at 256 or 320kbs) with good presence and stereo separation. Downloading of files simple copy and paste. A desirable improvement would be an equalizer in the required app to adjust for different types of music and headphones, and a gapless play option for music genres such as opera. Also purchasers should be aware that there are various sources for downloading the app as noted on the packaging. Overall I am very pleased with the device for music streaming (and at 200gb the capacity is awesome for those with large collections).
