Connie W : Will this work with a Canon T2i?  Or is it overkill?  I am heading to Kenya and will be taking pictures of the wildlife.ROBERT M : I believe the card is overkill as it’s a UHS-II card and you only need a UHS-I card. Also one 32GB UHS-II card is $54. A 64GB UHS-I card is $20! Buy at least 4, if not 6 or 8 cards, if your JPEG images will stay on the cards without backing up on your vacation. Tip: place cards in case with face of card facing you. When card is used, turn card around. No mixups!JOHN J : Hi Connie, It will depend on how you are shooting. Stills or Video. Just make sure your cards are Class 6 or higher. If you are shooting Raw Stills (Recommended 25 mg Raw) then I would go with a 8 or 16 GB card for each day of shooting. That will give you about 400 or 800 shots. If you are going to be shooting Video's I would go with a 64 GB card (or 2) for each day you are shooting. It is better to have more cards than you need than not to have enough. You also should take a external hard drive (2 to 4 TB (SSD)) so you can down load all your stills and/or video each day to. That way you will have a copy of your photos/videos on your card as will as the hard drive. Make sure you format each card before you use them. Do Not reuse them until you get home and transfer everything to your main storage devise. Hope this helps. I wish I was going with you. I was there in 1978 for 1/2 a day while I was in the US Navy. At least 2 and shoot in RAW. Having extra card is a must. I was on a major trip when I noticed a card failed. Set it aside and recovered it when I got home. Had almost 600 images recovers. I prefer the largest cards. You are less likely to have a card fail than outright loose a smaller cardsJOE L : Dumb question, does your Canon have an SD slot?, does it accept SD's larger than 16gb?, shooting Raw or JPG? Personally I would buy 2 or 3 similar SD's or maybe 64 or 128gb's. Enjoy your trip!!

Faulty products

I picked up 2 of these during a sale last month and I just went to use them and neither of them work are not recognized by my camera or my mac. I am so mad I will be calling these people today. Zero stars. If this isn't remidied when I call today it will be the first and last time I ever use Western digital.

Always the best

SanDisk Pro are the ONLY cards I will use in my cameras. In over 10 years of shooting professional sports, I have never had one fail or or corrupt. The write speeds keep up with continuous shooting on my 1DX MKIII and on the new R5 that I tested for a few days. There are no better memory cards made as far I'm concerned.

Wouldn't work in Canon Eos R or 90D

The SD card did not work in my Eos R or my Canon 90D's. The cameras told me to format the card, however when I tried, the camera was unable to format the card. Additionally, my Imac was unable to read the card. I am not sure if this is due to my cameras not being able to hold SD cards over 256gb or if the card simply had a malfunction. I searched the internet for solutions and found none.
