Most new "BOOM BOXES" do not come with an SD Slot, pretty stupid! My new Sony at least has 1 USB Slot. The SanDisk MobileMate is great because it turns your USB Slot into a MicroSD Slot. Now all my music is available to me, from just 1 tiny MicroSD Card!

Though they say "high speed" in the description that is a cheat - they're using "high speed" to describe USB 2! These adapters ONLY work with UHS-I microSD cards. THESE ARE NOT UHS-II DEVICES. (UHS-II has an extra row of pins and can transfer data VERY fast. UHS-III uses the same pin layout as UHS-II and is backwards compatible). My Canon M3, M5, and M50 all support UHS-II cards. In fact, even the original M (introduced 6/12) works with UHS-II, so there's no excuse in 2018 to pretend that there's only one adapter type. Sandisk SELLS UHS-II microSD cards here in the USA WITHOUT a UHS-II SD adapter. If you pick up this item to use with one of those cards (as I did) you'll be out of luck. I had to purchase Lexar UHS-II SD adapters directly from China. As of 4/18 only Lexar offers microSD+SD adapter pairs that are UHS-II. Go figure. These are fine UHS-I adapters, fwiw.

These super small memory cards are really neat and it's essential to have adapters like the SanDisk adapters, I use them to load my music and play on my new car audio system that has FM radio and micro disk input, no CD or Tape inputs.

Product came right on time and was exactly as it said it was. Great product. Would recommend.

This is a great product if you want to have a micro sd card and also have a tight space for it. The only reason that I don't give it a 5-star rating...is that the picture of the item shows it as a "black" reader...but I received a "red" one.

It's very simple. It's smaller than your thumb and made of very light plastic. No drivers or software necessary. You just need to get used to pulling your microSD card out by catching a little notch with your fingernail on the end of your inserted microSD card and pulling. Sometimes that requires a little extra force, but it works fine. Appears to Window as any removable drive.

It's very small a feels so light (i.e., it's cheap). Once I figured out how to put the microSD card in right and now my computer reads the files on the card without any problems. It is a little difficult to slide the card in and out. You must use your fingernail to slide the card out by it's protruding edge. It's USB 2.0. But the price is great for what it does.
