This card is pretty good. Use mostly for shooting jpegs. I use at least 8GB when shooting Raw + Jpeg. Very dependable; never a problem with read/write. Can't go wrong with SanDisk memory cards - good price performance value.

I have four of these cards and they all perform flawlessly (for the past year). And quickly. Reasonably priced.

I bought these for a recently purchased 450D and noticed a huge difference in write times going from standard SD to these Extreme III SDs. It was like getting a significant camera upgrade. I bought 2GB cards thinking it is safer to put fewer photos on any given flash card. While this is true, each 2GB card holds only about 125 raw files from my 450D, which means a few more card changes than I want during weddings. 4GB is probably the sweet spot for these large raw files.

I bought these for my Canon 450D, which was a recent purchase. I got some standard Sandisk SD cards with it and didn't think much of the speed one way or the other. However, after trying out the Extreme III SD I couldn't believe how much difference it made! It was like getting a significant camera upgrade. The buffer empties almost as fast as I can shoot. I trust the Sandisk brand and am quite satisfied with this purchase. My only regret is with not getting the 4-GB cards. I thought it best not to put too many photos on any given card, and that may be wise, but having to switch cards out during an event can cause a lost photo too. Nonetheless, the Extreme III really did make a difference in speed and hopefully will prove to be reliable for the years to come.

I purchased a pack of 5 of the 2 GB cards, and one is questionable. When first installed, it would not register in the camera. Subsequently I was able to format it, but the card has to be installed several times before it is recognized. Obviously there is a problem with the contacts/connection.

I bought this memory card because it said it would make my point and shoot camera have a faster "write time". I can't tell that it made any difference at all so it must not help certain types of cameras that are just not fast anyways. I have a Nokia L11 cheapo...bought it last year for [$]

Use these in my Nikon D80. I record my shots simultaneously in Hi Res JPEG and RAW. There are larger capacity memory cards, but I am more comfortable spreading my photo shoots across a couple of cards versus 1 large card.

Fastest card I have found for the Nikon D50. I keep a bag full of them and have had no problems with any of the units. Be sure to buy from a reputable vendor (Adorama) to prevent getting knock-offs.

Although there are faster cards available, these cards should be fast enough for all DSLR users.

I use this card in devices that don't support SDHC. My father's camera will only accept up to 512MB SD cards. But it has worked every where else that I have tried it. It was the fastest, most compatible SD card on the market when I bought it. Memory card characteristics change fast. For the products I own or will own that take SD not SDHC, this will be the best I need.

Camera size, shape, lense and lcd are well thought out. Picture quality is supurb. Just a tad slow on shutter responce. Otherwise, you can't beat it for the price.
