Mike R : What is adapter? and how is it usedDAVID R : I use a couple of very simple a cheap card readers to read this specific card to my computer (Windows 7 OS). I have the previous USB 2.0 version of this reader and it works fine on every PC I've hooked it up to: Kingston Technology MobileLite G3 USB 3.0 Reader - Supports SD/SDHC/SDXC, microSD/SDHC/SDXC and MSPD SKU: KGFCRMLG3 MFR: FCR-MLG3 Many new computers have an SDHC reader builtin and those generally work, although I had a Windows update that somehow shutoff the ability to communicate with many of my cards...might have to do with the FAT32 file structure. But the Kingston reader has always workedCHRIS R : If this has an 'adapter', then it must be a micro-SD card. The small bit is the actual memory card--the micro-card. The adapter is the larger piece that the micro-card slips into, making a full-size SD card. This makes this combination more versatile, allowing it to be used in different kinds of devices. phones & tablets might take the micro-card alone, but actual digital cameras would need the full-size SD card--the micro-card attached to the adapter. The adapter adapts the micro-card piece for use in a device that requires a full-size SD card.l Remember that it is the small piece that is the actual media card--this is the piece with the metallic contacts. Images, video, audio and other types of files are actually stored in the micro-card,so that is the really important piece.SUSAN R : Some computers and printers allow you to put your disk directly into a slot so you can read or manipulate and save your photo files. Otherwise you need an adapter of some sort to read your card when it's out of the camera and transfer the data to a computer or printer. That's the only kind of adapter I know of and it is not for one specific card. Any SD disk will fit into one slot, regardless of memory size.. Other types of memory cards will fit into other slots. Google SanDisk adapters for other options. I'm sure Adorama will carry the one you want. Depends on what you want the adapter to do. Just a hint - that little sliding white thing on the side of your disk is a lock so you won't delete or overwrite your current data. Great when your photos are those you don't ever want to lose.
Shopper : Will this card work in a Cannon rebel eos?JUSHENG Y : Is it compatible with Canon Rebel T1i?TED A : I shoot Nikon ?? sandisk works for everything, but look at what type SD or CF or what your camera usesGARY F : It depends on the specific model. The t4i and t5i will certainly handle a 32GB card, but some of the older Rebel models like the Xti and Xsi may not. The original Canon "Digital Rebel" used CF cards so that's a different beast altogether.
Debbie H : Need for Christmas is that possible?THOMAS K : Ask Adorama.GREGORY C : You should contact Adorama to see what their shipping options are, I hope this helps you.KENT S : Ask Adorama

Best memory cards around

I've been using Sandisk for years now and never had problem/failure. The 45mb speed is fast enough for my shooting style with my 36mp Nikon D800

Here's a memory workhorse!

This SanDisk memory card is a must for serious photography. I have used SanDisk cards for years without a single one failing me! A number of other brands have given me various sorts of "hiccups" that caused me to lose images in the past. I take good care of my memory cards, but occasionally accidents do happen. The SanDisk Extreme cards are hearty and reliable...surviving unexpected weather situations and temperature extremes. I no longer worry about losing valuable images when on extended photo shoots in the wild. Going for "bargain" cards will only lead to painful experiences, but SanDisk will give peace of mind and satisfaction!

Works Fiine

I find the Sandisk cards to be very reliable. I thought I'd try using the 60MB/s rather than the 45MB/s to get a little more speed when shooting. Can't say I see any difference there. It might matter of you shoot video.

Reliable Card, Fast write speed.

Very good write speed when shooting action in Raw format. 32gb provides sufficient capacity for 100's of shots.

Problem free

There is not much to go wrong with a memory disk, so it's good to report that the disk worked as expected out of the box and for the short time I've had it.

Does the Job

To date I've used this exclusively with my 24 Mp D610 capturing still photos. While it may not look fancy, it does the job. It keeps up with the 6 fps bursts of the D610, writing 14-bit uncompressed RAW files without fail. Likewise, file transfer rates are as advertised; no complaints at all.

Good Deal, Good Product

At weddings, events with poeple go by quickly, and you will not have the opportunity to go back and get the image again. The product delivers fast shooting from frame to frame and the image quality remains high. This is the second 32 GB disk I have purchased, and on travel trips or events such as weddings, I have tremendous amounts of memory and do not worry about coming up short on capacity.

Great memory card

SanDisk continues to keep me coming back! Card captures video as fast as the images… does not miss a beat. I'm using with my 5D MkIII (med res setting) and have not had an issues this far. Also, I've used SD cards in the past & none of them have let me down this far. Yes, I'd recommend to family & friends.

Sandisk is all we buy.

Never have had any trouble from sandisk. It is all we have used the last 10 yrs.For weddings & events we use the extreme pros in the cf & sd cards for stills & video. For some other projects we do not need the write speed,so this is more cost effective.

Fast and Reliable

Write speed is fast. When you buy memory card, find out what their write speed are. Most of cards will show their read speed which is faster than write speed. Sandisk is one of few that keeps their write speed as close as read speed. (So far) Sandisk never failed. I had two different brands SD card failed on me. Since that happened, I was sticking to Sandisk.

vast memory; fast

You are unlikely to need a CF card with this SD. It was bundled with the 5D MIII by Adorama and unlike some reviewers I have found it to be fast with no issues no matter how many fps I shoot.

Great Card! Best Price

When purchased Adorama had the best price on the internet for this new card. I purchased this for my Canon 60D for both Raw Photography and HD Video recording. It's super fast and always works great. I do suggest keeping the card contacts clean after several uses to avoid errors.

Best card for Canon 60D

By Jocelyn P.

I researched a lot before buying this card. My main concerns were reliability and speed. My goal was to get the best card for a Canon 60D. I hesitated between this card and the 45MB/s UHS class 1. Bottom line, there's no point in buying a UHS card unless your camera supports it (most cameras don't as of Nov 2011). If you don't see UHS stated in the specs of your camera, it doesn't. An UHS card will still work, but in compatibility mode at lower speed. 30MB/s is the maximum speed of non-UH...

Good Card, Good Price

By The P.

I got two of these SD cards (Adorama had a good sale)for my Canon T3i, and they are perfect for photography. The Read/Write speed is probably more than you'll ever need, and the capacity is high enough that the card has enough space for a ton of photos even on highest settings. Each card also came with a 1-year license for a data recovery software, and although I don't think I'll use it, that could be useful if you accidentally delete that once-in-a-lifetime shot. It's a great card, so I real...
