Shopper : Does a thousand responses to the default question "Why did you choose this?" do anyone any good?RONNIE R : I chose this SDXC card because of brand reputation, & personal experience with the brand. It also had the specifications that I needed for my application.RICK B : I have 2 Nikon D750 bodies. The max write speed for the D750 is slightly lower than the max write speed for this version of the Extreme Pro. SanDisk makes faster cards costing significantly more that will not provide any additional benefit except when transferring photos to your computer (up to a minute or two depending on number of photos being transferred). I have used this version for a decade and they have performed flawlessly. Currently, I have 4 of the 64GB and 2 of the 128GB.JAMES K : Because they work as they are supposed to.Michael S : Read the most critical. Each user's needs are different. Deeper understanding of why we make choices might be helpful. Products evolve over time - be alert for recent purchase disappointments. IMHO

Faulty products

I picked up 2 of these during a sale last month and I just went to use them and neither of them work are not recognized by my camera or my mac. I am so mad I will be calling these people today. Zero stars. If this isn't remidied when I call today it will be the first and last time I ever use Western digital.

Always the best

SanDisk Pro are the ONLY cards I will use in my cameras. In over 10 years of shooting professional sports, I have never had one fail or or corrupt. The write speeds keep up with continuous shooting on my 1DX MKIII and on the new R5 that I tested for a few days. There are no better memory cards made as far I'm concerned.

Wouldn't work in Canon Eos R or 90D

The SD card did not work in my Eos R or my Canon 90D's. The cameras told me to format the card, however when I tried, the camera was unable to format the card. Additionally, my Imac was unable to read the card. I am not sure if this is due to my cameras not being able to hold SD cards over 256gb or if the card simply had a malfunction. I searched the internet for solutions and found none.
