Fast enough

I have bought some of this SD card class 6 and 10 with 30MB/s speed. They all have been working fine for me and other people to whom i have recommended it

Works flawlessly

I have been using Sandisk since I got my first digital camera in 2004 and I have yet to have one fail.

A Great Card

These are great cards and I would recommend them to anyone. I am however, now hooked on the new SanDisk EXTREME PRO cards. Other than these Class 6 cards, even for personal use, I would use either the Extreme III Class 10, or the newer EXTREME PRO super fast cards, which are now my first choice. I still have and reuse my SanDisk Class 6 cards though (mainly if my others are full and it's only personal use), but for the most part, and especially on client assignments I will use, and any new purchases will be for, the San Disk EXTREME PRO (45 MBPS speed). I am amazed at how most non-pro photographers are not aware of the differences in speed and the "class" designations on these cards. I often tell someone about a great card deal and they'll tell me the better "deal" they got for a SanDisk card, not realizing they are Class 4 cards or that there is even a difference. Yes, to each his own, but you DO get what you pay for, and even photography for personal use goes smoother with a higher speed card. So, while one doesn't need the expense of the EXTREME PRO for personal use, I highly recommend considering the higher speed Class 10 cards, and these Class 6 cards are okay, but forget about the "4's." SUMMARY: If you take a lot of photos on an outing or at an event, especially if you do action shots and/or use burst mode, you WILL see a difference with a higher speed (Class 10 or EXTREME PRO) card, and you likely won't go back to the lesser speed cards.

Exactly what you need--but costs less!

I only used SanDisk memory cards. Everyone I know in digital photography uses SanDisk. Because they are RELIABLE!! And here you can get the product you want & need at a most impressive price (actually better than from SanDisk themselves!)

Trusted brand

There's not much to say other than it's a trusted brand. I use it with a Nikon D90 so it's fast in writing/reading. I don't take videos so I can't comment on that but I'm sure if I did it will be more than enough. Did I mention it's fast!?

Had To Replace

Bought this to replace one that had a crack in it. SanDisk would not replace this for me. I'll be buying Lexar media from now on.

Excellent card for DSLR Cameras

I've always had great results with SanDisk memory cards. Fast write times and transfers to the computer. I am also using a SanDisk card reader. I have two of these in 4GB and one 8GB. Very reliable.

Fast and furious

It is a memory card. A most necessary piece of equipment. The class 10 rating is noticeably faster than the class 6 I had prior to this purchase. $ gigs fits about 540 12.3 MB's of photos. I prefer a few smaller cards over 1 big card for the sake of a corruption with 1500 pix on it verses only losing 1/3 of my photos.

Great DSLR performance

This card is a great performer in my Nikon D3000. I can shoot continuously in RAW without going to the camera's buffer. I used benchmarking utilities to check the card's actual read/write speed, and both cards (I ordered 2 of the 4GB) write at a sustained 20 mb/s. That's short of the 30 mb/s claim, but still double the speed of my previous SDHC cards. Online benchmarking tests confirm my results. This is an excellent card for high speed DSLR shooting. Larger capacities would also be great for hi-def video recording.

I definitely purchase this product again

I use this product almost daily. I frequently photograph sports activities as well as nature scenes on a less frequent basis. The card is very quick, and is very simple to use.

awesome speed

I use this for taking images with my D60. The lag time between pictures had been much shorter making it more fun and efficient to use.

Great Speed

The card is definitely worth the money. Do not settle for a simple SDHC card. If you transfer photos to your computer through the computers card reader, confirm it accepts SDHC cards. I was told that the compact flash cards were much faster than SD cards but the speed of this card ranks high and I would definitely recommend purchasing this card to complement your new camera!

This is my favorite memory card!

My husband and I use the Extreme III to shoot everything. We first used it to shoot a wedding, because we shoot all weddings in RAW and the memory card holds over 250 RAW images! It is faster than any memory card we have ever used and we currently will not shoot with anything else.

Good stuff

Card is pretty fast. Although I didn't notice that much difference on my D90. I don't shoot much burst RAW. I plan to shoot more videos in the future so I think the fast read/write speed will help.[...]

Amazing and consistent performance!

These cards are amazing. They do what they claim and don't sputter like other cards once they approach their full capacity. It's nice to hear my D40x reach it's full potential of 100 shots at 3fps without stopping or slowing down. There are other cards that claim they're class 6, but these are the only ones I've used that actually keep up with my cameras' demands. An amazing product and Adorama has them at fantastic prices (especially with the current cash-back rebates).

So far I haven't had to wait while it is writing to memory, even when shooting successive images. Very pleased.

Great product

I bought one of these cards a couple of months ago and was very happy with it. Lag between pictures is minimal and as always, Sandisk products are very reliable. I just purchased 3 more for my Alaskan cruise at the end of the month.
