Drive bricked after about 10 hours of use
Drive threw a S.M.A.R.T error with only about 10 hours of use, failed promptly thereafter, completely bricked.
Tech support ran me around in circles on the phone. Call quality was poor and the person I was speaking with was extremely hard to understand.

Replaced failed WD Blue 1 TB SSD after 8 months ... with new San Disk Ultra SSD
Very discouraging for WD Blue SSD to fail completely to write sectors in my Lenovo TinyPC 920q. The replacement San Disk Ultra 1 TB SSD runs fast!

The disk was no longer detected in the system
Totally disappointing, the drive stopped working in less than one and half years of using it. It is very frustrating to trust a product and invest money in it that suddenly stops working. and I lose all my valuable data.

I put my trust into a failty piece of hardware
I bought my drive maybe a year ago after my last hhd crash and since it was my only ssd in my computer out of multiple drives I used it for my work files and my backup. The drive crashed and Ive lost the past years worth of files and I have to suffer because of faulty hardware.

Sandisk SSD Defective
Using Western Digital's Acronis, I could neither clone from my Western Digital Blue internal HDD nor "restore" from my Western Digital external hard drive. It declared that my Archive was corrupted. So, I had to test it. I have another drive. It is a Western Digital Blue HDD. I was able to restore from the external drive. Conclusion: The Sandisk SSD is defective.

Fast and reliable
I used this for an old Mac laptop and replaced the original hard drive to this SSD. As expected the speed was 10x faster from boot time to loading applications. Even with a 10 year old processor i5 this SSD made the Mac faster than it was originally. I also use Samsung SSDs but this one has the same speed but cheaper. I also used Sandisk USB to load the Mac OS which is very reliable. I partition and format it many times loading Mac or Windows OS. So this is one of the brands I trust.

SanDisk Ultra internal Drive
Performs well and much faster, installation/reformat a bit of a challenge but wants is done, rans much faster. really like the product.

Hooray I can use my old Laptop Again!
My older laptop is happy and much faster, the SSD replaces an HDD. The base speed of the computer is the same, but where the disk is part of the operation, it has gone from a few minutes to less than a second in worst case response times. Hooray. The WD Dashboard tool is not working on my machine at the moment. Before the upgrade Acronis was having problems, but I created a bootable USB on one of my other computers and ran Acronis to clone the SSD. I hope WD Dashboard will start working again soon.

Terrific upgrade to an older Dell computer
I put this 1tb Ultra SSD into my Dell i7 desktop (after installing a suitable carrier), and it made a huge difference. Boot up time decreased by 75%, and basically every performance measurement was sped up considerably. This on top of my already fast 7200rpm HDD of the same capacity.

macOS 12 Monterey Format Issues
I initially could not get macOS 12 Monterey to format this drive connected to USB C (this seems to be a reported common problem). Connecting via USB 3 using a USB B cable solved the formatting issue. Crazy right!

Exactly what I ordered. Very satisfied, and fast to ship! This SSD tests faster than a lot of other drives, and faster than any bargain-brand or no-name brand drives. Great Price for a 2TB SSD, and SanDisc is one of the major brands you can trust.

Great for cloning HDD
Disk is great, was able to clone HDD to it. Used free software recommended by Youtube. Hint: if you have problems cloning run a chkdsk on HDD. Only one video mentioned it, but it worked for me

Big and fast
Very happy it is big and fast. This is my first boot drive over two terabytes. I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04 and I had boot ssues after manual partition creation on the GPT drive with UEFI bootloader. To get past the issue I let the Ubuntu installer create the partition layout itself and I haven't had any problems since.
