Questions & Answers

Shopper : Does this sandisk ultra 16 gg class 6 card come with San Disk Media Manager, like the sandisk ultra 32 gb class 6 card does?Andre B : No
Misti O : I would like to purchase this card for a V-Tech InnoTab Interactive Learning tablet as expandable memory for photos and videos. Is this the best choice for this type of use?JAMES B : Misti, I bought the memory card for my Nikon D90 digital camera because the camera is capable of using this Memory Card which makes takes pictures much faster, it enables me to keep snapping one picture after the other. I guess you should do some research into the type of device you have and see if it is capable of using this Memory Card. Go to the manufactures web site for whatever device you would like to use this memory card on and look up the spec's. It should say somewhere in the spec if it can handle this device, and if not then you could probably get along without it. If you using it just to access photos and videos it may not be needed. Like I said I use it in my camera and I can take one picture after another. Good luck and let me know how you make out.YOUNG Y : I used for canon S90 camera taking pictures and some videos. The card is very reliable and class 4 should be good enough for camera or tablet expandable memory.PHILIP L : I don't know anything about this application, sorry.
jose s : is it compatible whit canon eos 7d?JOHN H : Hi Jose: Sorry for late reply. In Tibet & Bhutan using my 16 GB card on Canon EOS Rebel T1i. Worked perfectly ! No idea about 7D !HOLLI T : sorry I would not know a 100%. But I think it should.BING-CHI S : Canon EOS 7D only support CF type memory card. I don't think you can use SD type memory card here.JOHN L : I use this card in a Canon t2i, and have been very happy with its performance. I'm sure it would work with the 7d.CANDACE R : The Canon EOS 7D uses CF Card Type I and II, UDMA-compliant CF cards, via external media (USB v.2.0 hard drive, via optional Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E5A) With the Canon EOS 7D you would need the SanDisk Extreme IV UDMA Compact Flash - you would need this card type due to the critical speed and preformance needs of the high end camera you would be using it in.

Pretty solid, still in use after 2 years

I bought this for my Canon Vixia HFS100 camcorder. Initially I thought 32gb card would not be enough for day long recordings, but I found out that its more than enough for most of my uses. First I did not really do recordings for the whole day. Second even if I wanted to, the battery that comes with the camcorder won't let me do this, so SDHC card is not the real issue. Besides I backup my recordings at the end of the day, so this is more than sufficient for me. Transferring this to laptop/desktop is okay.

Great value

I bought this for my wife along with a DSLR kit as a gift. I picked it because of it's value. It's not the fastest card with the largest capacity, but it's not the slowest bargain card with the smallest capacity either. I feel that at the time of purchase, it offered the best value in terms of performance and capacity for the price. Most photographers don't need any more; todays DSLR buffers are large enough that the write speed of this card is sufficient unless you shoot a lot of continuous RAW bursts or video. For photography, the only thing a faster card will do for you is lessen the time transferring to your computer and I'm fine with the 5-10 seconds it take this one now when loaded with a day's worth of shooting. Plus, it comes from a reliable manufacturer and hasn't given us any problems.

SanDisk Quality

Great product. It should be pointed out that an SDHC reader is required. My computer can't read SDHC and I thought there was something wrong with the card until I did a web search. I bought an inexpensive reader and all is well.

Good, solid card but not a speed-demon.

I use it in a remote recon-type camera. The large capacity allows me to leave the camera unattended for long periods.

Love the 32GB

I just purchased the new Nikon d300s and the new "sd" card at 32GB works perfectly. The small size makes it lightweight and high speed.

Just Terrific

Very large capacity, reads and write very fast. Best price for the content. My only gripe which most likely was my fault was I found out one of the cards recorded my HD video content and it came out jaggy only when i put it on my hard drive. A good format fixed it and all is good now. It took a while to figure out though.

Just works. It's simple.

Is not the fastest memory in the market, but works good with my D90 shooting in NEF format. When I shoot more than 6 frames, takes a little time to save, but maybe is 2 second or less.
