Our new Epson Workforce wireless compact scanner is so amazing! Compared to our old scanner, this one is fast. It is essentially plug and play if you will right out of the box. Download the app to your phone, set up the wireless connection and you are golden.
Very easy to setup, and with its smaller size, it barely takes up any space on the desk. I would like it if the paper feeder were bigger and more stable but other than that it's a rocking scanner. It's good for home and office. At home we scan in tax receipts to keep for the year, at work I scan in receipts as well as all of the technician reports. I like that I can save the scans in pdf's that I can search for and scan right into my cloud.
Reasonably priced for this faster, more efficient scanner from Epson.

Great might scanner !

Great compact design that saves you space on your desk. Not only scans up to 20 documents but it also scans your receipts for booking and or tracking of your spending . With WiFi cones and connecting with its iOS app or android app making it easy to keep track. 
I definitely recommend buying one of these be cause it's worth it, saving you space on your desk and scanning your documents and or receipts. The only thing I wish it had, would be an LCD display but with the connected app you don't really need it.'

Great scanner for Home and Business

Must for home

This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-320W Wireless scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Setup of the scanner was fairly easy. The quick guide was easy to understand and quick. It takes only about 15 to 20 minutes from start to finish.

The scanner is able to do double sided scans in one pass which was a pleasant surprise. I only used the mobile smart panel software which is simple but fairly simple to use.

The paper guide provided allows you to scan copy paper to small receipts allowing for a wide variety of paper sizes in a small compact design.

It is pretty fast at 20 ppm in color. It gives two paper paths being straight and another. If scanning using straight path it doesn't have an output tray so plan on keeping farther back on desk allowing room for paper to come through completely.

Overall pleased with the unit. It seems well built but seems as though you shouldn't use as your main scanner for large projects. How long it will hold up I don't know. I would recommend the scanner.

After I finally figured out how to get everything set up I was very surprised with how easy and quickly the document scanned. There are more options than I realized there would be for a scanner. It was easy to save and name it what you want, and not hard to find them when you need them.

The app and the setup and installation instructions or less than to be desired for someone that isn't very technically advanced. It took me almost an hour to click different areas and hope for the best. Having a menu when opening the app would have come in handy.

Amazing speed

This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-320W Wireless Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Once I was able to figure the instructions and the app out, this scanner worked great. It has been a while since I last scanned something and could not believe the speed or how easy the double sided scan works. This is really going to come in handy to scan all of my receipts and medical information. Not having folders full of paperwork to go through will come in handy when I'm looking for something in a pile of documents.

I am not up to date on technology, so I had an extremely difficult time with the installation and setup instructions. I found the app even less user friendly. Those that are familiar with technology might have an easier time. The app doesn't show the different options once installed on the home screen. I would have found having different options on the home screen would have come in handy

Super fast, lots of options

Pros: Very compact fits well in small spaces. Accommodates a variety of document types, also you can scan both side of doc on one scan task. Ability to scan using mobile phone and scanner send the scanned image to the phone. Super fast scanning ability.

Cons: Installation guide is not complete or dont have very good intrcution to follow and setup wi-fi. Setting up on wi-fi was complicated and not enough instruction. Software is keep failing when setting it up to find the scanner.
Suggestion: Mobile app should have the ability to setup the scanner including set it up on wi-fi.

Space saving

My initial impression, on unboxing and setting up the Epson WorkForce ES-320W is that it's a compact unit, easily usable in a small office or at home and requires minimal space to use. On powering, the setup and interfacing with a computer (either MAC or PC) is straight forward and requires minimal technical knowledge (just follow the provided instructions or if you need, access the Epson online data base and you'll go from box to scanning in mere minutes. Using wifi or direct cable, the downloadable software make for seamless operation. 
 
Single or Dual sided scanning are supported with a 20 page feeder that proves to be extremely fast and faultless. The Dual Sided Scanning captures BOTH sides of the document with a single pass!!! 
I ran a number of large documents and receipts thru this scanner and experienced zero jams and clean, precise images.
 
Using via Wifi (supports Both 2.4G & 5G), I was able to connect multiple computers to the ES320, these both MAC and PC. All worked similarly via their app and manipulation of the scans and configuring scan.
Once scanned, you have the option of saving, printing, sharing and extremely useful, editing with WORD, EXCEL or EVERNOTE apps utilizing the Epson ScanSmart application.
As an add on option, a Free 30 Day Trial of the Epson SmartScan Accounting Edition allows for Receipt Scanning with Data Importation into Quicken, Quickbooks and TurboTax.
When not in use, this unit can be closed up, and can be moved around easily. When needed, setup is extremely simple with just a few motions. Very nice for mobile needs.

Overall I was impressed with versatility, look / feel and available support for the Epson ES-320W and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small, solid 30ppm, dual sided scanning solution.

Epson ES-320W Scanner, initial impressions

I recently received the Epson WorkForce ES-320W Wireless scanner for a beta test and review. This scanner is incredibly easy to use and has helped me reduce clutter in my home. One of the best features is that it doesn't need to be connected to a computer. Using the Epson Smart Panel app on my iPhone, I can quickly scan important documents and save them to the cloud, specifically a folder in my Apple iCloud account, without needing to turn on a computer. The quality of the scans is far superior to using my phone's camera, and the process is much faster. The scanner can handle double-sided and color scanning, and it has multiple paper feeding paths for thicker documents like photos and ID cards without risking any damage.

The speed and ease of use are the most important factors for me. Although I might not have considered purchasing this product before trying it, I am now convinced that it's an essential part of our home workflow. Unlike our bulky printer with a built-in scanner that requires a computer, this scanner has a small footprint so I was able to tuck it away in a corner of the kitchen where the mail used to pile up. In the short time that I've been using it, it has significantly reduced the clutter of our mail pile and helped with both College and High School registration for my children, which required scanning multiple forms. I really don't have any negatives to report - I would rate it a 95 out of 100.

Wow, what can I say, this is a great little scanner! I got this to use in the place of my flatbed scanner on my printer that I have been using for years to scan documents into my computer. What used to take 20 minutes to scan a 10 page double sided document I can now do in a couple of minutes - and the image quality is excellent!

The software that comes with the scanner works well. You place the sheets in the feed tray and then press the scan button. The software automatically opens on your computer and it begins scanning the pages. When it has finished, you can delete or reorder the pages, then either save the document or do one of many things, like emailing it or uploading it to cloud storage. The software can do OCR to automatically detect the text in a document making for easy searching or copy/paste.

Great replacement to flatbeds, and much quicker!

Quick and Easy to use

In my opinion this has been the easy and most accurate scanner that I have ever used. The compact size makes it easy for me on the go because of the small footprint that it covers. The software was the longest part of the process from opening the box to having it scanning for me was about 12 minutes because i like to read instruction before i do anything. So if you are looking for fast and accurate scanner then please give the Epson WorkForce ES-320W Wireless scanner a try.

Epson WorkForce ES-320W Wireless scanner

The Epson ES-C320W is a wireless two-sided scanner that comes with a USB connection, and also supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WIFI. It is shipped with and AC adapter, USB Cable, and Quick Installation Guide.

Software/Drivers are available for Windows and Mac. A complete user manual is available for download from the Epson Web Site. The web site also has links for Android and IOS applications.

My initial setup was on a Mac Mini M2 Pro running MacOS 14.5. I downloaded the "Drivers and Utilities Combo Package Installer" from the Epson Website. The first time the scanner is used, you must connect it using the supplied USB cable. The installation went pretty well. In the past, installing Epson Software seemed to have issues. This time it went very smoothly.

Scanning was easy using the Epson "ScanSmart" application. I also downloaded the manual from the website which was 254 pages. I was surprised when reading through it how thorough everything was covered. This is not the norm for most online manuals. Kudos to the Epson team for this one. The downloaded software also includes some other drivers and utilities. They also provide drivers that allow the use of the MacOS "Image Capture" program.

There are two ways the document feeder can be configure. The first (vertical path) lets you scan one or more sheets of paper (It says it supports 20 pages, but I have scanned 35 with no trouble) and loops around the front for output, meaning the output paper doesn't take up any additional space in front of the scanner. The other, operated by a lever, is used for long paper sizes, or special documents (like passports, thick paper, or cards), and spits the scanned documents out the front. In this configuration the paper goes in a straight path out the front.

The scanner can scan documents (up to 30 pages per minute), and save the output in a variety of ways and formats. If you just want to save the scanned file, you can save it as a PDF, searchable PDF, JPEG, TIFF, Multi-TIFF, and PNG. The user also has the ability to attach the file to email, Send to Google Drive, Send to Dropbox, Send to Evernote, save to Word or Excel, or Print the document. They optionally let you manage your Invoices and Receipts with a trial version of Epson "ScanSmart Accounting Edition".
The scanner can be configured to automatically scan documents to your computer by just hitting the Start button on the Scanner control panel.

There are apps for both IOS and Android so you can scan documents directly to your phone as well. 

One small negative in terms of software support. I have a Mac mini with an Apple M2 Pro processor, and can run a virtual Windows 11 machine using Parallels, but Epson does not support the ARM versions of Windows 11, so there are no full-featured drivers available, but they do mention on their website that you can use Windows Scan, but it really only supports very limited scanning and functionality.


If you are looking for a fast duplex document scanner that takes up little space on your desktop, has WIFI connectivity, supports a variety of both computer and mobile platforms, then the Epson ES-C320W is good choice.

A Good,Compact, two-sided Scanner

I purchased the 300W model last year and the front page is crooked EVERY SINGLE TIME. Not the back page (usually). I have to scan EVERY document front and back, put it in the scanner backwards and delete the front page. Then for documents that are actually double sided, I have to do it again and merge the two documents. I spent over a half hour today on one multipage double sided document. I went through the long, arduous process of returning it under warranty (had to send mine back first then WAIT. I RECEIVED A REFURBISHED UNIT THAT DOES THE EXACT SAME THING!!! Thus, I paid FULL PRICE for a REFURBISHED unit that doesn't work ANY BETTER than the original unit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT OR THIS COMPANY!

DOESN'T WORK - BOTH ORIGINAL NEW UNIT AND REPLACEMENT!

1 st time using a scanner dedicated machine. I am very impressed so far. I have always used the printer's all in one feature, to scan documents. My old method is way too slow and unreliable. I was looking for a fast reliable, wireless product , that I could share with other users in the office , and was small enough to take home , when needed for weekend work. I did not want a portable scanner, as the cycle duty is low on those models , and needed a work horse machine. Love the mobile app functions, as I can scan to my mobile device, pick one of the cloud services, or attach it off in an email. There is a scanner side -Type C to PC side USB connection that I needed for the 1st time set up to the PC . I did PC driver installation and update , at the same time as the mobile app install and connection . I was up and running in about 20 mins. Some wireless connection errors happened because , I attempted to connect the mobile app before the wired pc setup was on my network. No biggie .Plus it was a Black friday sale and being a new product out. I went for it. Happy so far , I will update , if not satisfied.
