Epson Automatic 30 Sheet Document Feeder for the Perfection 4490 & V500 Flatbed Photo Scanners

I already had the Epson V500 Flatbed which worked well. But I had stacks of personal paper records -- mortgage documents, insurance documents, full-page service records that I wanted to scan and then shred. The ADF was trivial to install. Unfortunately, no drivers existed for the Mac OS I was running (preview copy of Mountain Lion). I do run parallels on the machine and was able to install the windows 7 drivers and the scanner worked like a charm. I was able to scan two sided documents by passing the stack of documents through twice and then using Mac's Preview program to reorder the pages. Sweet. If I was initially going for a multipage scanner, I might not consider going this route due to total cost, but the scanning is superior . 4/5 stars primarily due to cost.
